1. "Feinstein’s amendment would allow the attorney general to block the sale of a gun or explosive if there’s a “reasonable suspicion” an individual has or will be involved in a terrorist attack."

2. "It would allow the attorney general to block the sale of a gun to anyone under a terror investigation" in
the past five years
."

This is a very gray area it opens the door to wide sweeping unconstitutional behavior.

LIVE OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO BE FREE AND PROTECT OURSELVES!

So you really believe that armed citizens in that club, that night, in the dark, would have all made good decisions about who to shoot?

Peace KL,

I'm not sure what "that club is"? I will take a stab that you are speaking of the Orlando possibly staged shooting situation.

In any situation barber, butcher, candle stick maker and gun-owner. I suggest to only use your tool if you are:
1. Trained
1a. Can clearly sight your target and get off rounds
2. Can clearly do so with a proficient skill level
3. Are Confident in your ability
4. Have experience in shooting in low light visibility situations
5. Know and understand your weapon
6. Have not other means to safety

But the caveat is if you are cornered or in fear of your life. most people are going to pull and start blasting. But that's why training is so important.

Question to you:

Do you think so many people would have been supposedly shot or killed. If 1/4 of the Club goers were armed and trained in the use of a firearm? And carrying concealed or open.

The supposed shooter could have been:
  • Forced to retreat due to the return fire
  • Forced to surrender his weapon
  • Subdued and held for the policed
  • Wounded
  • Killed

lol this is a loss for repubs. they are getting further from the center that decides the election.
You have 70 or 80% of gun owners wanted more background checks and they still turned their backs in them.

At some point in the future they are going to ban assault weapons again and No civilian needs a AR 15 or AK-47.

Peace Brother.

Now why do you feel that way?

Do you feel people needs a fortune worth $60 billion dollars?

Do you feel 1 person should have lavish homes all around the world?

Do you feel doctors should be banned for mis prescribing medications and causing death?

Do you think money should be banned because people kill and maim over paper currency everyday?

Should cars be banned due to the tremendous amount of people they kill and injure each year?

Do you feel alcohol should be banned due to the amount of people that die each year from alcohol related deaths?

Do you feel swimming should be banned, many people die each year from drowning?

Do you feel books should be banned. Many books have placed ideas and thoughts in the hearts of men?

Most of the items listed cause far more deaths each year than guns do?

Who gets to decide what should be banned?

Think about it!

Dude I've gotten into a billion fights on Facebook saying the same thing. These idiots don't want to hear it

I've had one screen name since I came here. I'm not one of those crazy fuckers with multiple names and AWS.

Peace Brother,

I wasn't trying to insinuate anything negative. I just remember the BROTHER LICK from back in the day. I always thought he was a good BROTHER, good thoughts and ideas, fire posts and very helpful.

If you were him I was just going to say hello, what up? and how you doing?

Okay, carry on and PEACE!

1/4 of club goers are armed...how do they all know who the bad guys are? They wouldn't and more people would die from friendly fire.

Instead of 49 it would probably be 200.

The police thought there were more shooters in there and killed some of that 49. Trained police couldn't prevent friendly fire deaths yet you think randomly armed citizens is the solution to less deaths.

Ok...

I REST MY CASE!

I'm all for responsible gun ownership, but let's be honest: Real life is not like the movies. In real life, the "good guy" is not just going to automatically take out his gun, yell "yippee kay yay, motherfucker" and take out the "bad guy" with a single shot to the head. When you have mass shootings, especially in dark places like a club or a movie theater, having multiple people trying to take out the target can end up being one big clusterfuck. Yes, there have been times when an armed citizen has been able to save the day, but that's not going to happen all of the time.
