They nailed Spider Man and Black Panther. I hope Marvel can work a deal out to get the Fantastic four.
Great fucking movie
Black Panther
Spider Man
Captain America![]()
dude they took a STRAIGHT SHOT at DC.
SPOILERS!!!!
Cap: "What Bucky am I speaking to?"
Bucky: "Your mother's name is Sarah."
Falcon: "So what, y'all s'posed to be cool now?
end spoiler
they just told DC to kiss they ass.
I want to join the chorus and sing the praises of the movie but I am shocked that of all the people who have seen the movie has not talked about the ass on T'Challa's bodyguard - she seriously made Scarlett Johansen look like a lil girl.
(have yet to find a picture of the scene on line
i was about to say the same damn thang.
cot DAMN this movie is full of SO MUCH GOODNESS.
and the twist??? the TWIST???
man...DC better start over like that shit they put out just never happened.
I think this is key for the first time ever we got the real Spider-Man... Not some 27 year old playing a kid (Tobey maguire Garfield was 29) . But a real teenager playing him!!!
I think in the past we accepted it just to get to see a good representation of spidey on the big screen. But this Tom Holland kid is a fucking game changer.
Man this is exactly the type of spiderman that I didn't even know I needed. I loved how they kept him as a straight up geeky science nerd. He absolutely nailed it.
the 3D didnt enhance this movie at all. theres no need to see that version. My only complaint is that the 3d was a fucking joke. I don't think I'm going to watch another Imax action film unless it is shown in a Non-3d version.

man during that scene a mfkr yelled out "Fuck Martha!" and the theater exploded with laughter, hahaha!!
Aunt May always looked too old. Marisa Tomei is 51.LOL but he is supposed to be like that, just a kid, they made Aunt May too young and sexy though....
Aunt May always looked too old. Marisa Tomei is 51.
Word. She always looked like she should have been called Granny May.Aunt May always looked too old. Marisa Tomei is 51.
Oh yea I like her looking younger.Yeah but in the books she always appeared ancient, like the perpetual old person you could never imagine young, Tomei makes sense for Spidey's age in the movie though.
Aunt May has been getting social security checks for 40 years.Word. She always looked like she should have been called Granny May.
If Spidey is still young and in High School, then Aunt May should look like a MILF/Cougar.
I used to be biggest MCU Black Widow fan.
Honest to God she was my favorite character from the Avengers.
Now i gotta say I kinda hate her. She let me down in this movie big time. Not just cause Im Team Stark. I feel like she's gotten soft in alot of ways.

Come on man, she was amazing for what she is, her moves set is crazy when dealing with powered people. She is just human after all.
you saw how they got him back right?I really liked falcon character..dude is funny, he brings comedy to the movie..when he was like you can't trust a man dressed as a cat. His shit was funny, black Panther was serious as fuck.

Frosty’s Civil war (comic’s) vs Civil war (movie) review.
The reason for this style review is before Civil war came out many was wondering about the events of the comic and what went down in that version. So I got the idea to contrast the comic version vs what the movie presents.
Needless to say there are spoilers ahead. Spoilers from both the movie and comics. SOOO if you don’t want to know what happened in both leave.
If you wanna skip straight to my thoughts on the film just scroll to the ironman pic it picks up after that.
The comics Version of Civil war set the Marvel universe on fire! It crossed over into damn near every major comic title. Even uniting x-men, avengers, fantastic four and wolverine in the ultimate telling of the story.
The story ran across 106 comic books in all. I wont recap it but will give my main impressions from the 3 major plot pointes.
While the whole thing started with an explosion that killed 600 people. It set off a government initiative that saw the beginnings of the superhuman registration act. The act would have superhumans revealing their true identity and power to the government. Imaging a self ocking here on BGOL similar idea and resultant consequences.
IMO 3 main plotlines formed the decision of which side you were on. Cap and his folk was against it while tony and reed were for it as the lesser of a greater evil.
Spidey
Poor spidey was caught in the middle and became the poster boy of why SH should submit to the registration act and since he had begun working for Tony (and given a nifty suit upgrade) tony asked him to PUBLICLY reveal/OCK himself.
That went as well as Dr Truth rolling up on Esters crew and saying lets have drinks. ALL of spideys advasaries and J Jonah Jameson went after him and his family (aunt may and Mary Jane.)
Reed Richards
Reed was down with Tony from the get and you really didn’t know why. Ben stuck by tony cause that’s what Ben does. But Sue and Johnny joined team cap.
We all know how pussy whipped reed is for sue but he stood his ground even when she left. He was down for the cause and NOTHING could sway him. Turns out the reason he was down was due to one of my favorite book series by Isaac Asimov: The foundation.
Turns out Reed had read it as a kid and worked out his own method for psychohistory.
Psychohistory is a concept of mathematical sociology. Using the laws of mass action, it can predict the future, but only on a large scale.
Reed used this to determine that the superhuman registration act was the best chance for super hero’s to survive without setting off a global war.
Tony stark endgame
Tony’s action were not based on such facts and logistics tony’s end game once revealed made the whole fucking story worthwhile. While others had the emotion of right and wrong and reed had his facts and logic Tony was working with brass fucking balls!!!
The reveal at the end when cap finally realizes he is fighting on the losing side and surrenders is very powerful. Sadly in the comics Cap is killed before it comes and Tony goes over this as he has a quiet moment with Cap’s dead body.
Tony’s whole reason for doing this and pushing was to save his friends!
For his part in bringing his friends and various superpowered Humans together to accept the registration act Tony was given Complete control of SHIELD and HE was the one in control of the list!
Now based on all that I couldn’t wait to see what aspects would make the movie and how they would adapt certain missing/unavailable characters with what they have…
I tossed all that shit out my mind and just enjoyed the ride. Civil War is the ever continuing story of mini masterpiece chapters of the great marvel saga.
There was a thread talking about marvel’s ‘problem’ namely a lack of a real villain. Fuck all that shit. Like I stated in that thread this ride began with Fury talking to Tony about the Avengers initiative It has been building up to culminate with the greatest villain/threat in Thanos of Titan in Infinity War.
But that’s down the road. One thing I love about how the MCU has come about is that they do not sacrifice story to get to the end game. They have carefully prepared the various chapters (movies) introducing us to the main players/pieces, so that once the board is set the game can play out to its inevitable conclusion.
In the here and now Civil war the movie is a well done chapter and verse that moves at a quick fucking pace but does not lose you. There is a ton of action in this movie damn near from the beginning, but for the most part it keeps with its story and continued character development. Zemo and the winter soldier are the catylist that moves this forward. 2 characters with opposite motives that engineers different motives for our hero’s. You have Zemo pulling the strings to lure out TWS. He does this in a way (later we find purposeful way) that ensures Tony will in effect be on his side.
The resulting man hunt for TWS pits cap against his new ally’s vs the friend of his long lost youth.
IMO this creates a backlash of personal introspection of the major/known characters as to how they respond to this dichotomy. Whose side do you take the one your being TOLD is right or the one you FEEL is best. Do you accept the logical need of the socovia accords or do you follow your heart and principles that you stand for?
This breaks it down to a classic battle of good and evil right and wrong, but on an inward level. IMO there is no enemy or villain in Civil war because in actuality the civil war is with-in each combatant.
Each was torn between what’s right on a logical plane and what’s right on an emotional/philosophical plane.
Take Vision for example He laid out the logical need for the accords and went to great lengths to protect Wanda, but even he when it came down to it was split or distracted due to the inner conflict or civil war he was fighting internally.
Same goes for Rhodey. He backed his friend and leader like any good solder would, but deep down he knew these accords would tear the team apart.
In the end the accords accomplished the mission of revenge that Zemo wanted. He did indeed tear them apart from the inside.
“An empire toppled by its enemies can rise again, but one which crumbles from within…that’s dead forever!”
He had, it seemed, toppled them from within by showing tony the stark (forgive the pun) naked betrayal from his friend.
Thing is when you face and survive such a conflict, such an internal struggle you come out stronger. I think this is what the end scene showed when tony got the letter (Beautifully delivered by Stan the man Lee!)
That truce, that resolution of hey we had a difference of opinion or ideology but no matter what we got yo back, proved We are stronger than this no matter how painful it was to go thru it.
Great fucking movie.
Ok now that we got that shit out the way lets talk about BLACK MUTHA FUCKIN’ PANTHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
This shit was beyond my wildest hopes and dreams. I love the way Chadwick Boseman played him and I am gratefull that they didn’t put the CAC fuck to him. He thruout the movie was intelligent, resourceful and fucking deadly!
No quarter was asked and none were fucking given!
From the start he was a force to be reckoned with and that did not change one bit thru to the fucking end credit scene. He fucking held his own against every opponent he faced both on a physical level as well as cerebral/psychological level.
I absolutely Loved the BOBA FETT Move he pulled on Tony, following that mutha fucka to where cap was.
Loved the fact he was ready and more than able to Kill TWS
but was wise enough to see the ultimate game being played and got to the bottom the real source of what was going on.
I am kinda torn, on one hand I wish he woulda let that CAC zemo blow his head off, but it was nice the way he sonned him and let him know the living are not done wit yo ass!
Cannot fucking wait until his movie and love the fact that its coming out Feb 2018 and will lead up to Infinity War!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I guess I will say this about Spidey.
When they started talking about oh you cant do Civil War without spidey My reaction was FUCK HIM. While he played a big role in the comic Civil War. I Knew the MCU would be just fine without him…Boy was I wrong. While he did have some great moments in the movie that’s not what impressed me.
What impressed me was for the first time ever we got the real Spider-Man... Not some 27 year old playing a kid (Tobey Maguire, Garfield was 29) . But a real teenager playing him!!!
I think in the past we accepted it just to get to see a good representation of spidey on the big screen. But this Tom Holland kid (19) is a fucking game changer.
but yeah Falcon is funny...the part in the bug...
"Can u move ur seat up..?"
"NO !!!"
great movie...they got everybody right...like everybody said Ant-Man, Spidey & BP stole the movie..
side note...man i think X-men is gonna suck...
& it`s got competition...that damn Alice movie comes out Memorial weekend also....
oh yeah...gimme a few ...i`m finding the back shot of that bald head fine ass sistah...![]()
