Tom Clancy's The Division 2 March 15th, 2019 PC, XBOX ONE, PS4

The Division's Bug Affected Players Will Get Phoenix Credits Compensation

The team at Massive that's working on the future of The Division is announcing that it is aiming to offer compensation in the form of Phoenix Credits to all those who have been affected by recent major bugs associated with backpacks that were preventing access, missing characters after the Incursion update, and missing daily assignments.

The developers are also claiming on Twitter that the maintenance period that's affecting the game today will not introduce any sort of gameplay changes to the multiplayer shooter and is only used to make sure that the title runs well during the coming seven days.

Ubisoft is aiming to deliver 500 Phoenix Credits to those who had missing characters or were affected by the backpack bug, and they will also get access to 10 high-end crafting materials, which can be used to improve their equipment.

150 Phoenix Credits are being delivered to those who were unable to get into the daily challenges, which have not been updated for three days in a row, and all these extra rewards should take no longer than two weeks to actually be delivered.

The dailies should be running again starting today, but it's entirely possible that another bug might affect them and that Ubisoft will have to offer even more compensation in the near future.

The company is doing the right thing by giving players who faced problems something as compensation.

The Division is getting ready to welcome another Incursion
The new mode challenges groups of four players that have solid equipment to tackle powerful waves of enemies in order to get access to even better rewards and bragging rights, and an entirely new installment is set to arrive in the May update.

Ubisoft is saying that the free content drop will also introduce other features to the game, most of them directly requested by the player base.

Starting June, the company is planning to launch paid expansions for The Division, with the first of them called Underground and set to open up access to tunnels under New York that are occupied by a powerful new faction.

There are plans for those other DLC drops before the end of the year, which will introduce a new game mode and other ways to interact with the game world, and in the meantime, free patches will be used to improve balance.

Ubisoft has said that The Division is the best-selling Tom Clancy title it has ever launched, and the NPD Group has confirmed that it dominated sales for the month of March in the United States.

What do they mean by C4. They talking about all explosives?

Damn I been so busy playing destiny again, I haven't been able to glitch this shit again..

And I wish they would punish folks for finding and exploiting flaws in this broken game..

No

We were using sticky bombs to destroy the APC before. Now only C4 will destroy the APC in the incursion mission Falcon lost. So no matter what glitch they find, we will no longer be able to destroy the APC by glitching.

Ok I haven't played the mission. Didn't know there was C4 exclusively for that mission.

They should lower the loot drops after you complete it the first time. That would discourage people from replaying it and trying to glitch the mission.

Ubisoft’s recent MMO, The Division, will either live or die based on the post-launch content it receives. Like all MMOs, Ubisoft is planning to release multiple expansions for the title so that loyal players of will be able to continue shooting and looting through the streets of New York far into the future.

To find out what types of content players want to be in the game, Ubisoft have released a survey asking players questions both related to and not-related to their new game. Starting off in regular survey fashion, the first half consists of asking basic questions about your age, gender and other games you play—although the majority of games of this list are developed by other companies—Ubisoft does start to ask actual questions about The Division.

It’s not until about halfway through the survey does Ubisoft get onto the interesting questions. The company wants to know how many hours you’ve put into the game, whether you play it solo or not as well as how you feel about the level cap being raised and if higher level items should look better the higher their requirements and instead of looking identical to the other fifty-odd beanies and jackets you’ve found throughout your playthrough.

There is even a second survey after you’ve completed the first which asks even more intriguing questions about each individual feature in the game and even if The Division should bring a new city into the mix “in the future” or just more of New York. This survey actually has quite a hefty amount of questions to go through and does introduce new questions based on your previous answers. I hope that the answers to these questions do help Ubisoft to deliver more fleshed-out content for The Division in the future. If you want to take part in the survey yourself, click below for more.

This game sucks and is broken as shit. Everytime they try to fix something something else breaks or is exploited. The dark zone is a joke. The incursion is boring as shit. My advice to new players is just walk away. I've invested way too much time and energy on this bullshit. I wanted so badly to love it. I've invested a lot of time into this game. My gear score 208, I have 2 FULL armor sets(Striker and Technician) almost every named gun and a legit level 61 without boosting or exploits in the dark zone. At the end of the day, it has some fun elements, but overall it's not worth the grind. Personally, I've done just about everything there is to do. I'm going to sit on this game until the next expansion and see if they've addressed the glaring issues or boost gameplay options.

My Xbone is back in business so yall can add me "HeavenlySkies" I'm only like level 16 but I've been doing missions like 4 or 5 levels above.

The Division | How To Beat Incursion Challenge Mode | Guide/Tutorial

The Division Falcon Lost Incursion Challenge Mode Guide

I was just about to ask if anyone has beaten it without glitching it.

I've only finished the incursion legit once on hard. I don't know ANYONE that's done it on challenging. From what I've read, not even the developers have beaten it on challenging.

That incursion is fuckin hard... fuck that shit lol

That shit requires you to spend a few hours with and have a plan. I tried it for the first time a couple days ago. You can't even be on the near the APC strike. I was rolling outside the proximity strike and kept getting downed.

Improving the Player Experience – Topic: Cheating & Exploits

29/04/2016 10:31 AM

From the very beginning of development, our emphasis has always been on the player experience and how good we want it to be. We have great plans for the future of The Division, and for these to succeed we must make sure to provide a smooth high-quality experience. Unfortunately, the gameplay experience was recently impaired by in-game bugs and players violating the rules of the game. In order to bring back a better and healthier environment, we have taken new steps to address the situation.

Cheat Engines
Cheating players have been an issue for a number of you in the Dark Zone, and we’ve heard this feedback loud and clear. We are strengthening our efforts to address this problem, as described below.

First, we have implemented new cheat detection methods that have allowed us to identify many more players currently using cheat engines in the game. We have already caught more cheaters in the last few days than we had in total during the previous weeks. As a result, we will be handing out the biggest wave of suspensions and bans to date over the course of the next few days.

Second, when cheaters are caught, we will now apply a suspension of 14 days on first offense (instead of the previous 3 day initial suspension). Second offense will always be a permanent ban.

We anticipate these two changes will noticeably improve your experience. New upgrades on cheat detection are underway.

Bug Exploits
What is a bug exploit?

An exploit is the active triggering and use of a bug or glitch to bypass established game rules in order to gain a significant advantage or skip progression steps otherwise necessary.

Identifying and fixing bugs before releasing new content is one of the most important parts of game development. This is also the best way to guarantee a smooth and enjoyable experience for our players. Learning from the past and your great feedback, we are currently reviewing our development and testing process to further minimize the amount and impact of these bugs going forward.

Unfortunately, we cannot simulate the experience that millions of different players will have, and how they will play the game. As a result, some bugs may make it through testing, and may be present when an update is deployed. In the event that a bug makes it into the game, and this bug can be used by players to gain an advantage, we need to be able to react and fix it, but also dissuade players from exploiting this bug until it is fixed. This is why moving forward we will adopt a stronger stance against players abusing exploits.

Our first step is to give you clearer and more concrete visibility. Should new bugs be discovered, we will quickly confirm if these are considered exploits. All known exploits will be clearly listed in a public forum thread and across our various communication platforms. We want all players to be informed. This will ensure that those caught after an exploit was confirmed are aware of the consequences and actions that can be taken against them.

Second, sanctions will be implemented for players who repeatedly abuse exploits and will vary depending on the severity of the abuse, as well as the history of the player. Possible sanctions include character rollbacks, account suspensions and permanent bans. Those who encounter bugs during the normal course of play have absolutely nothing to worry about.

As mentioned earlier, providing a high-quality experience is our priority. Fixing game bugs is one aspect of it, and we are improving our processes to address that. Dissuading players from impairing others’ gameplay by violating the rules of the game is another aspect. We also want to give you better visibility and transparency. We are fully committed to providing an enjoyable and fair environment for all our players, and will take all steps necessary to achieve this goal.

See you in game!

The Division Team

I have played this game in month, I have it for PC so exploits and cheats are rampant. I'll wait for the DLC to drop before I start again to keep it fresh.
