Where you enter the DZ at is a big difference from seeing enemies with purple health and yellow health. There's difficulty sections based on DZ rank. Lvl 29 with the right gear and weapons is the best bet to rank up in the DZ.

No.... The higher 30's will be int heir own server, that likely includes me. It's not your player lvl, it's your GEAR lvl that will determine this, you will be in DZ 30 with others of your equivalent gear lvl. You good there.
You NEED to go into DZ to farm all you can so you will meet requirements to do the Incursions OUTSIDE the DZ as they will be based on gear lvl as well.
This has got to be the most complex rpg ever made. I'm still confused about the material conversions.
I'm hoping that they don't restrict you from playing with friends who are higher up in rank. That may be a double edged sword.
The incursion seems glitched on ps4. Cant match make most of the time and that APC is no joke.
YOOOOOOOOOOO these gold drops is lovely right now especially with high scav, we even getting golds from chest and the DZ supply drops are all over the place and not a clusterfuck like I thought, imagine extracting 7-8 golds EASY!

Can you still play with friends who are a higher or lower rank?
You'll know based on gear score but yes for most part.
I'm getting a gold item every time I do that Police Academy exploit, I got it down. It takes about 10 minutes to do. Half my guns and gear are gold now. I got my Scavenging up to 107, I'll be in the 160 DZ bracket in no time.
