I've come to that same conclusion, the hate for her is so strong that it overrides the big picture for most people on both sides. Barring any tricks by the GOP (brokered convention) Trump will be President of the United States come November.

We are so divided as a people. How can we get respect from others when we have little respect for ourselves and don't know how to disagree without throwing insults at each other. Think about what is going on in this thread for one second....we are actually arguing over which "white" president would be better for us as black people. If Barack Obama didn't teach us anything, he taught us that our political system is completely broken in this country and the two party system has run its course. In other words, it really doesn't matter who the president is, when the senate and congress won't pass any legislation based on alligence to their party and not for the overall good of the country. You can't just executive order your way through your term. Nobody is compromising any more and the word bipartisan is meaningless in government. Hillary or Bernie, it doesn't really matter, we must go out and vote for whichever one is nominated if you want to keep republicans from winning but neither one of them is going to run a crusade to help blacks once in office.

The Democratic party needs to hold primaries in states that somebody has won in a general election in the last 20 years. Hilary Clinton victory in state that President Obama, Kerry, Clinton (husband), and Gore has lost in distorts who should be the nominee.

And this is the part that is 100% truth.......at the end of the day we are stuck right now between a political rock and a hard place......we can t just not vote cause the court is at stake and 2020 is going to be a census year where gerrymandering will come back into play......and having a Democratic incumbent will make it easier to win state houses in that election.....

This is one of my main concerns for a doom and gloom scenario. Hilary won't break up the banks. They continue to do risky investments. What's going to happen when there is another crash because they are continuing down the same path as before? World economy crashes which will pave the way for a more authoritarian figure to rise?
Best case scenario.. Nothing happens which is unlikely because there is a historical precedent for the boom bust cycle due to no regulation and there are some modest reforms to curtail the banks. I doubt this, but it will be a lot worse if a Republican win..
