In other words, it really doesn't matter who the president is, when the senate and congress won't pass any legislation based on alligence to their party and not for the overall good of the country. You can't just executive order your way through your term. Nobody is compromising any more and the word bipartisan is meaningless in government. Hillary or Bernie, it doesn't really matter, we must go out and vote for whichever one is nominated if you want to keep republicans from winning but neither one of them is going to run a crusade to help blacks once in office.

This is one of my main concerns for a doom and gloom scenario. Hilary won't break up the banks. They continue to do risky investments. What's going to happen when there is another crash because they are continuing down the same path as before? World economy crashes which will pave the way for a more authoritarian figure to rise?
Best case scenario.. Nothing happens which is unlikely because there is a historical precedent for the boom bust cycle due to no regulation and there are some modest reforms to curtail the banks. I doubt this, but it will be a lot worse if a Republican win..
Basically, except for the part that Hillary doesnt excite the youth which Democrats need to win, whereas Trump excites racist xenophobic whites which Republicans do need to win. We're circling the drain and nobody seems to realize it.
