Tom Clancy's The Division 2 March 15th, 2019 PC, XBOX ONE, PS4

I have five days off when this shit comes out... I can't fucking wait!
:gun06:
Pre ordered and already downloaded on my console...

Ok I read up about the dead zone section. It has the best gear and most money and xp is gathered there. Killing other agents gets you tagged as a rogue agent and earns you a bounty on your head. With each agent you kill you earn more xp. It takes 5 minutes to get cleared as a rouge agent. The countdown is only active while you're not in combat. If you survive your bounty you are rewarded with the money.

Tom Clancy's The Division: Agent Origins (Escape)

Has anyone else watched the whole Division: Agent Origins movie? I caught it on icefilms before I saw the youtube segments posted......this game has been delayed for like 2 years....all of this shit coming out now has re-piqued my interest. After Watch Dogs came out I mentally put this game out to pasture

I just peeped that shit. Man I can't wait for this game to come out.

Finally got a ps4 (psn scarf7ce) beta was the shit! I gotta get it. My ps3 headset wont work with the ps4 will it? The lil mic thing i plug in the controller is a mic?

its great for team play. I'm going to be playing the shit out of this on PC.

I hate Uplay, but I would deal with it to play this.

Btw, my uplay id is Actinanass1

I was waiting on this game for a while now!!..cant wait to get it!!..:yes:
I preordered the gold version, which I encourage everyone to do so you have all of the missions. Damn these companies know how to run game on a mother fucker. Charge me extra for some shit that's already in the game...a game that hasn't even come out yet. A few months down the line I could understand, but this is probably next in the queue at the disc pressing factory and they're talking about paying for new levels.

Shit everyone in the GTA thread shoots anything that isn't crew. We all have head sets and work in tandem. We're be fine.
I'm rocking with you because you know the importance of communication. Some games don't need a headse, mainly competitive titles like one on one fighting or sports...but goddamn man if my teammate is getting shot to shit and he doesn't call for help, he's fucking me over because when he dies...it's 1 versus 10 instead of 2 versus 10.

Headset and Teamwork is def advantage during mission or in the dark zone

I got mine for free, so I'll prob get a season pass. I normally don't get season passees, but each borough is going to be it's own DLC. Brooklyn is coming next, I think by Memorial Day.

Oh shit

Ubisoft wants to remain independent after unwelcome Vivendi investment

Update: Vivendi just bought more Ubisoft shares and they're stake went up to 10.39%.

Earlier this month, entertainment giant Vivendi purchased a 6.6% stake in Ubisoft. Now, the French publisher behind popular franchises like Assassin's Creed and Far Cry has vowed that it will “fight to preserve our independence” in the wake of this new and unwanted investment.

In an internal email obtained by Games Industry International, Ubisoft’s Yves Guillemot said Vivendi’s investment into Ubisoft was ”unsolicited and unwelcome. Our intention is and has always been to remain independent, a value which, for 30 years, has allowed us to innovate, take risks, create beloved franchises for players around the world, and which has helped the company grow into the leader it is today.”

image

He also said that Vivendi has a history of “aggressively pursuing companies within the entertainment sector. We’re going to fight to preserve our independence. We should not let this situation—nor any future actions by Vivendi or others—distract us from our goals. Our best defense is to stay focused on what we have always done best—deliver the most original and memorable gaming experiences.”

In a separate email, Guillemot said a Vivendi takeover could hurt the company’s brand. If this happened it would mean that Ubisoft would be “managed by people who don't understand our expertise and what it takes to succeed in this industry.”

image

Vivendi previously owned Activision until the company bought back their independence. I find this whole situation rather strange and Ubisoft’s words rather amusing. Guillemot talks about delivering ”the most original land memorable gaming experiences” but Ubisoft’s lineup is rife with sequels and underwhelming games. Assassin’s Creed is a yearly franchise that hasn’t innovated in years. Watch Dogs failed to deliver on many fronts. No wonder they’re having issues. Ubisoft’s stocks are also down considerably since 2008 when the company was at its peak.

The way you stay independent and successful is to surprise and shock the audience. What game has been truly memorable and remarkable from Ubisoft in recent years? I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.

I'm waiting for the official review... I'm not a fan of the 20 bullets to kill one solider shit and I need to hear about the single player campaign.

there is no single player campaign so you'll be waiting for a while to hear about it...but ya I would like to see an official review as well even tho I'm leaning toward it if I can get it for $30 w/ reward points etc. I agree @ needing a whole clip to take down a person...I just realized that's why dude was able to take on those 3 guys and dare them to shoot him as a result of his rank
