They never mentioned or showed Hawkman in the early promos for the show. I was surprised he was even on the show to begin with. He'll probably be back at some point next season or a finale.damn 3 episodes in and they already merked a major cast member
This show is okay to watch it's nothing special. Could be better could be worse.
Off topic but Fox is bringing it back as a mini series.

I'm not sure if statement is inline with my thinking but here I go.
I think we naturally believe if you've lived a long life then you should be 1) Smarter 2) Richer etc than an average person. That is a flawed way of looking at that state in my opinion. More accurately they would likely be better at the things they've been more passionate about! So if your thing is science then your likely going to acquire and seek out alot of knowledge to that charge etc.
In the case of Vandal, his passion from what we can tell isn't towards hand to hand combat. His passion is towards leadership and conquest! When you conbine that towards the fact that he can re-animate and it's likley most people don't come at him and he has hoards of those willing to serve him. Then it becomes more plausible that his desire or need to be this great individual warrior isn't a priority.
Whereas, Rip learning and being able to fight, at least better than Vandle Savage. Forge by his need to avenge his family isn't so far fetched.

A great movie on longevity and a BGOL classic called "The man from earth" really gets into some interesting conversation on what would it be like to be a person that lived for 100s of years.
Now that you mentioned it, isn't he the other kid from Attack the Block, with the gumby. I knew he looked familiar and his saving was the save way in that movie.
