Is the full video only 15 seconds? Seems like a nice edit. Probably was 10 minutes of complete bullshit before the incident. Pig is supposed to be a professional and went way overboard, but the teacher probably begged and pleaded with the student AND THEN called the pig. The pig then probably made multiple demands.

Officer was wrong..I'm sure the student was causing trouble to the point the officer needed to be called...starts at home.
Confrontational skills is something that is not taught to teachers or requires training. Having a respectable authority from your students is a skill and not something that is easily learned. A soft spoken female will not be able to handle it. Neither will a passive male.
There is a voice of dominance that I used to widen the eyes of students that thought it was going to be one way. Not a disrespectful tone, but a tone of god. Black female students are the easiest for me to set straight. The Black male students sometimes have the eyes of wanting to test, but are unsure of Bruce Banner. A face to face talk and a mutual understanding always comes about. I show the caring and nurturing side to my students. But that is a personality trait. Not something that is easily learned buy those who do not have it.
The raging-asshole to decent-human-being ratio is all jacked up for cops apparently.

It's much deeper than that bro. Some kids can not be saved. We're not talking about something that you can just learn to do. It's a personality trait. We have all type of training videos in the archive, but what good do they do if the teacher just doesn't have it or care? It's like patience. Some got it and some don't. Some learn to have it and some never will. Plus there is a whole other side of parental responsibility.
States are not paying teachers well. There is a lot of pressure and stress involved just making sure the students can make grade level. It's easy to spot these type of kids out that are troubled or troubling. Having the teacher that can handle it is another story. How many teachers have you seen get ran over in school by students that didn't care? How many teachers have you seen students TRY and run over the teacher, but that teacher wasn't having it and the student forever respected them.
I get all of that.
Teaching is one of the toughest jobs and most valuable jobs there are.
The system doesn't really want you to teach. They want you to prepare them to pass test and herd them to the next grade.
I get all of that, believe me I do.
I'm just wishing that some MORE patience was shown instead of automatically being shown the door. And kids that just refuse to be cooperative are put with other uncooperative children and taught the basics on how to do so parents be damned.

calling the police on a student a girl is crazy. The response was to much. We need to have better alternatives. It's almost like now if you call the police on a domestic dispute with a friend or a family member with mental health issues. You may run the risk of police killing them.
I have many friends who are teachers and they never have called the police on a child. Policing schools is becoming a problem

Bring in a female administrator, or officer to assist and help defuse the situation
To snatch her up, throw her on the floor, drag her to the front of the class like that, was treating her worse than a Dog and anybody who feels for whatever reason he was justified to take that course of action is really not too bright...

I know women who were badasses and sassy when they were young, come to find out they were being raped by step parents and teachers. Imagine if that was her case, this is just more trauma to add to the mix. When I see kids act out I wonder WHY more than focusing on their immediate behavior. He's essentially reenforcing that she ain't shit in her own mind.

As a former child care working my eye picked up a few clues that may be helpful... First the reaction of the other kids and teacher, zero fucks give... Most of the time if the cop were to do some shit like that in a class filled with the victims peers, all hell would break lose... At the very least there would be screaming and shouting.. The only time I saw reactions like that was when it was done to a real asshole or bully.. For example there was this Spanish kid in the system who was a real asshole... David was 19 years old, and someone put it in his ear that staff can't touch him no matter what.. So the asshole started threatening to punch and spit on staff... One day when no one was around he spat on the female cook face then punch the shit out of her knocking her out..
The cops was called but being a resident of the city, the cops hands were tied, and I could tell they wanted to fuck his ass up but there was nothing they could do..
Fast forward a few week later and David started feeling himself threatening to kill another resident.. Instead of handling it themselves staff called the cops, and the threaten resident cooperated by telling the cops what he did, boom, duke was fucked, because it was another resident he was fucking with.. David, still feeling himself tried to push the cop out the way, and the cop kindly handed that ass to him... No one complained, every one including the staff was happy for his David getting his ass thrown on the floor and cuffed..
After that that fucken snitch David (another story) calmed his ass down and fell in line...
Not saying that this is what happened in the class video, but the reaction from the students and teacher looked very similar..

In all likliehood, a girl that needs police called on her has had a failure on the parental level far before this video.
