They lie!

There is no link to listen on that page.

Nice drop shot. :D:yes:

Looks like neither of them want to be out there.

There must be a ton of emotions running thru both. They can stop each other's legacy. :smh:

I just noticed that Venus now has Serena's body type from about 10-13 years ago.
On a side note, I wanna suck Serena's tatas.

Damn Serena got smoked that second set

I wonder if she's ok. After the first set I thought it was going to be a cake walk

I hate rooting so much for Serena against Venus

I have mixed feelings

But I'm glad she seems to have turned it around

This was a good match. The outcome was predictable, but Venus put up a fight and made Serena work for it.

Its so tough with them. I think at the beginning when Venus was winning, Serena didn't want to upstage her big sister but at some point Serena was clearly better than Venus and if she played her best no way Venus could beat her. Now I think the only way Venus can get a set from Serena is if Serena lets her get a set so she doesn't embarrass her big sister. Even if Venus gets a set which she got tonight, going into the third set I don't think she would play her hardest because she knows what Serena is playing for, not only the year grand slam which hasn't been done since 1998 and six times in the history of men's and women's tennis but also tying Steffi Graff for the most wins in the modern era.

I think that heavily weighed on Venus and is partially a reason why she wouldn't fight back against Serena in that last set. Venus also left the court a lot faster than most competitors do. We'll never know the real reason why but it is something that I was thinking about.

I don't think it is conscious with them. It is natural for you to let up on a sibling or family member unless your are Micheal Jordan.

I don't think they intentionally give bad outings but I can tell there seems to be some tentativeness when they play, plus all eyes are on them and there are the rumblings that they throw the matches against one another.

It is like playing your boss on basketball. You can clearly whip his ass but you don't want it to look so bad so you let up a little so they can save face, but that is more of a conscious decision. I don't think the Williams sisters are conscious of it.

They've come a long way :yes::yes:

During Serena's last match one of the female commentators said the THE ONLY THING that Richard was wrong about.....is that he said that their run would not be that long.

What a great thing to be wrong about.

Venus also left the court a lot faster than most competitors do. We'll never know the real reason why but it is something that I was thinking about.

Some said that it was out of respect for Serena in a weird way. Venus wants her Sister to enjoy these moments and she does not want to rob her of the spotlight.

One of the commentators said something to the effect of when Serena appeared to make an awkward motion after a shot, it was Venus that looked back to see if Serena was okay.
