Serena has only lost 2 matches all year. She has had to go the full 3 set distance 17 times and has managed to win 16 of those matches. The reason why she is so great is her ability to fight and keep fighting till the very end.

Anyone can be beaten on any given day, it's sports. Nothing is assured.
I've watched her and a lot of tennis in general.
She needs to dial back just bit at the beginning of matches right now. She's nervous and she tries to power her way through (literally). She's hitting every ball as hard as she possibly can and making tons of errors letting lesser players stay in matches. It's a recipe to let one of them beat you.
She needs to just try to hit at 75% to start off the match, her at 75% will beat 95% of the players she faces. Just get into the match. Get a lead, and make these players start doubting at the beginning.
She's got so much pressure right now. Falling behind is only adding more.
I have watched a lot of Serena this year....
She is of course great,but during this streak she has been fortunate also.
There have been matches where other players have had the match on their racket...and choked.
In Madrid,Azarenka had three match points....was up 40-0,lost 2 points and then double faulted 6x in a row.
That is called choking,and 99x out of a 100 you lose that.
All of the Serena escapes at Wimbledon...believe she was 2 points from losing to Heather Watson.
Point is,she has been living on the edge for many matches...and you simply cannot keep doing that.
The way it seems at time,that she is fighting herself...can't imagine the pressure that she is under.
