I'll give it a couple more episodes but like others sais last night was a snoozefest. I don't even remember any characters name. They should've recorded it in the same video format as TWD. Like i said earlier this show looks like it's taking place in 2014 while TWD has/had a 1990's/early 2000 feel to it

best way to watch TWD is to wait til the season is over and marathon it...then you can ffwd the slow parts...I did that the season w/ the governor and it was amazing how little I missed by skipping thru the dull moments...yall comments about the new series is how I've felt about the old one for a long ass time now

When the hell does this episode take place?
On one hand, one character has an Ipad which wasn't released until 2010. On the other hand, there's a gas station where gas is $2.35/gallon which is way less than it was in 2010 (In California at least).

Shit was a letdown in a major way.
I fucking knew it. I knew if this was tied to the walking dead it would be slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow as fuck. Much like walking dead, it's a drama with zombies here and there.
They could have got to the last 15 minutes 15 minutes into the damn show. I can't help but compare this to Dawn of the Dead 2004. They did an excellent job showing how shit starts to go down, not none of this slow fuckery.
It's possible to build characters without putting people to fucking sleep.
Leroy Soup is right. Best to watch this shit at least a few eps at a time. This shit was an hour that could be watched in 20 minutes.

This looks like a ratings grab spin off that's thrown together
Like how they started to do all those CSI and Law & Order spin offs

This was a much better episode than last week. However, I don't see the longevity with this series. A review I read pointed out that the hype surrounding FTD was the possibility of learning how the outbreak started. We now know that we won't know the origin. What's the point of the show other than to show the initial break down of society? Won't FTD eventually become similar to TWD, with different characters hiding and living in different locations, and ultimately confronting human adversaries?

LAPD seems to be doing head shots though, like they know what's up.
Well they shot in the body first.. a couple of times then tried the head shot...
And the white world will defend the mom stealing drugs from the school by saying she was protecting her son. No, she was stealing to enable her sons habit. He is a druggie. He deserved to die in the initial episode. They killed off the black boyfriend because he was with the white girl. The Hispanic family won't make two episodes.

I wanted her to get ate thoroughly. Her "know it all, but don't know shit" character is annoying. All the Blacks are walkers if we're getting nothing other than people running on the west coast, what's the purpose of this show??
