I thought the zombies deteriorate and get weak over time if they don't feed. So how was his son still so active after 10 years.

Episodes 4 - 6

Episode 4 was mainly a character development story dealing with Morgan coming to terms on losing his wife Jenny and son Duane.

The episode centered around the House that Morgan lived in that was shown in the Walking Dead.

We got the full story of the demise of his wife and what actually happened to his son. Morgan finally closed that chapter of his life….somewhat.

We find out Grace has cancer. She dies from wounds from a Walker. Even after she turns she looks Fuckable.

HaHa!!!

Mo has shown she has grit and leadership skills. She also has gained a lot of confidence since we saw her debut in the season premiere.

We find out that Morgan goes into a “Terminator”, “John Wick” killing machine mode when instigated.

Dwight and Sherry finally reunited with their son, but he dies. They decide to part ways.

Episode 6 final scene showed someone listening to Madison’s message on the radio, writing the coordinates down and gathering items.

One of the items picked up was Alicia’s prosthetic arm along with sunglasses and a hammer. Whoever this person is has done connection to Madison.

Episode 6 was the mid-season finale. The final episodes debut this Fall.

Definitely looking forward to them.

They don’t.

In “The World Beyond” series it was brought up.

The Circle Republic were doing research on why and how to reverse/control it as part of whatever sinister plan they are up to which hasn’t been revealed.

It’s looking like we might get some answers on them in the upcoming “Rick and Michonne” series.

Episode 7 - 8

Watched these two while home this afternoon.

The 2nd half of the season starts off giving us a update on Strand who we last saw in Season 7. And yes we got some gay PDA with him.

Strand rebuilds himself another community and operates it completely different from his last one making it into a peaceful, respectful society.

Troy returns, it was believed he was left for dead in season 3, but he came back for revenge against Madison.

We get a reunion of characters from prior seasons back together. Charlie returns and unwanted truths from the past are revealed to Madison.

Nick the Junkie got some love. He hasn’t been mentioned in years.

Season 8 is a total of 12 episodes. There are 4 left and episodes 11 and 12 debut on November 19. I plan on taking vacation that week for Thanksgiving and binge the final 4 then.

Episodes 9 - 10

Watched these this afternoon at home.

Episode 8 had Dwight come back and got himself involved in shit back at Sanctuary along with him and his ex-girlfriend Sherry going at it rehashing old drama.

The group gets back together to deal with Troy in Episode 9 and some new minor characters are introduced. And a few Alicia acolytes show up with them in possession of Althea’s Police MRAP which makes its return.

This Sunday is the 2 hour Series Finale.

We will find out who will survive and who will die to end the series.

Good chance there will be an after credit scene leading to what’s going on the future.

Looking forward to it!

Episodes 11 - 12
Final Episodes

Watched these two this morning.

Nothing exciting happened, they mainly spent about a hour and half getting in touch with their feelings and going around circles.

Not much for action to close it out.

Alicia we discover is still alive and she reunites with her mother towards the end.

The only big death was Troy.

The surviving characters made a decision to go their separate ways to deal with personal issues.

Nothing in the end to connect it to anything that might happen in the future or connect to the 3 spin-off series. As of now we don’t know what the future will be for these characters.

No after credit scene was shown to at least hype us up on the future.

Overall, it was a decent series, it had its ups and downs, but played out a little better than the last 5 seasons of “The Walking Dead”. besides Alicia returning, it was a slow series finale. Besides Alicia returning, it was a slow series finale.

My final rating.
