*** the official 2014-15 nba finals thread ***

Rep didn't we say this shit when Bron went back to Cleveland and when they got love? How Kyrie and love are the most injury prone ninjas in the league?

We did

I can't be too hard on the Cavs for Love cuz Lebron pushed that

I think he would've came back either way but it was all about pleasing Lebron last summer

Got to find a way to get Love without Wiggins though

He just isn't worth it

The thing about Rose is he gets hurt making normal basketball plays.

That shit is scary

These young ballers need to watch some tape of NBA games played in the years that start with 19__(whatever)___. (Before 2000)

In Particular, overtime games with...
- McHale
- Ewing
- Robinson
- Shaq
- Parrish
- Moses Malone
- Duncan
- Olajuwon

When you are struggling too score in Overtime....
Feed the post.

You just need a player that can post with his back to the basket and create a good shot.... or get fouled. (and it doesn't even have to be a Big Man :smh: guards like Gary Payton, Sam Cassell, Jason Kidd, MJ, and a few others knew how to post-up & back their defender down.)

Without that.... that's when you see all the 'wild shots'... and lots of scrambling around.

i need Dellavadova to roll up on some niggaz ankles real quick
preferrably Klay and AI.

:smh::smh::smh: cause you know he'll do that shit too. especially this ain't the bulls or the hawks letting him ball out there like he actually belongs in the nba. they treating him so far like the last 2 teams should have.. like he's cacavadova

Yo is David Lee hurt?

no. he's in the dog house. bogut has no place in this series. he doesn't need to be on the court. you combat thompson and mosgov with athleticism. not size. you need people who are going to leap and work and that's not bogut.

I'm glad JVG brought up all the injured players the Warriors dodged. I know attendance is part of the grade but it's crazy how many key players have been injured against them.

those injuries made NO difference. beverley plays.. you get to 6? instead of 5?

too much isolation basketball
cant do that shit the whole game.

that's cavs basketball. iso and drive and score or kick. that's been them the entire season.

Ain't nobody mad. Folk just want to see a good series and seeing Kyrie inevitably go down just wrapped all interest in this series. Bron can't win against these Warriors by himself.

Shit. Had a chance with 24 left in the game. Instead of staying in the lane, he takes a fadeaway shot.

Live by James, die by James.

Series ain't over, but if he doesn't stay with what works, it is.

everybody's game plan = let lebron get his... shutdown the supporting cast.

with kyrie hurt, it only gets harder for the cavs.

They got away from their game plan and to to fixated with the iso's.. During the last shot prior to overtime, the cleared out the left and left LeBron isolated for the three point shot, I think they should have went with what got them there, high screen by Irving, baiting a switch off and mismatch with Curry..

Lee doesn't need to play. He's the worst defensive player on the team. That's why he sits.

It was a bad decision... but he played so well that I can't kill the dude on one play.. wasn't like he dribbled that shit off his body like Harden or some shit.
Yea man. You just hate to see a potentially awesome series essentially end on a bad decision like that man! Dam!

You got two brittle niggas next to Lebron

And I don't give a damn how it happens cuz injury prone players get hurt

Period
Yea. Its really the bottomline. Injury prone players are injury prone. Thats the entire point.

Love gets a pass on this one tho...
He doesnt man. It just underscores that he simply is not a reliable player. Its the personification of being injury prone. You are subject to miss tons of time at any given moment. For any fluke incident.

Man. This shit ain't on Lebron man. It wasn't a great shot, but it's a shot he can make.

What about Blatt sitting Shump the 4th quarter when he was locking down the perimeter... but he rolled with JR and JR was cold...and he rolled with james fucking Jones....

Lebron is my boy....but he has to do too much for his team.......GS in 7

.

Yeah. He hits a shot there... Cavs win.. and we're talking about his big game and Kyrie's block to save the game..

now they get blown out in OT and Kyrie is hurt :smh::smh:

They would have beat those teams regardless

So Boston didn't have...Sullinger out for the year
Chicago wasn't playing with a hurt Noah? and Gasol didn't miss games?
and Atlanta didn't have Korver out?

It's the playoffs...most teams have injuries

The East is garbage for the most part. The best team to beat the Warriors would have been a West team fully healthy. The Warriors probably would still beat all of them even if healthy but I don't think they would have coasted all the way to the finals.

who does he have to guard?

he has to keep thompson and mosgov off the boards. they don't even go into the lane until after a shot is put up or cutting for a potential pass.

you're not passing them the ball to get any buckets.

but even then you can put ezili in the game. bogut can't even get down the court quick enough and he was scared to go to the rim in there..

So now if Kyrie isn't a go and he's not 100% GS just gonna let Bron eat and shut the rest of them down

niggas on here mad huh???

he was fucking tired!!!

iggy was playing good defense on him!

Bron in the post majority of the game wears him down. He begins to settle because of the amount of work he has to put to back folks down. The Cavs doesn't run plays to put him in the position he needs to be in (less than 15 away from the basket). Instead he is backing folks down from 20 feet out. That in turns effect his defensive presences. Add on the fact that JR was tricking and Shump not being in as much as he should have, wears James down. The fade was inevitable.

Yeah man that's why I have to look funny when they talk about Bron making it to the Finals again. Do that shit out West and i'm impressed. In the East.....man this might've been the easiest road to the Finals that Lebron has ever had. Shit man I think the Suns and a Thunder team without Durant would've put up a better fight against the Cavs than some of these teams.

dont put James Jones ole non-factor ass back in not nann nother time.
nigga just out there in the fuckin way.

That leads up to the last 24. We can point to why GS was in that spot too.

I'm just saying the last 24 was fucked. Lebron can make any shot past half court, but that set was terrible. GS was at the will of the Cavs at that point. It was up to the Cavs to miss a high-quality shot after that tremendous play by Irving.

I think the Cavs have to know that either Irving is in or he is out, all this not knowing and being unsure is not good for the club.. To me even though he had decant numbers he never looked quite right, his jumper was way off and even his one free throw that he took wasn't as clean as what we are used to seeing from him..
If he is indeed out, LeBron will be forced to change his game a little, pacing himself more and using his other teammates more..

Put Bron on the Rockets, Warriors, Grizz, a lot of teams out West and he goes to the Finals every year still. He'd have more talent around him than in the East. And a lot of Western teams don't believe in defense.

That's why he should have stayed his ass in Miami. I don't care what nobody says, he be thinking that shit
