49ers

LBOP, I hear exactly what you're saying.

Remember year 1 & 2. It was all about the power run game. Then setting up the passing attack from that. That was our bread and butter.

Last season we clearly saw what happened when Roman went away from the run. None of us will ever forget that Colts game.

This season it's like Roman really doesn't want to run. He just wants to throw, throw, throw. All of the creative power runs are gone. Last year we beat Seattle at home, sealing the deal with a creative power run.

So there is definitely a problem in play calling when the bread and butter plays are gone and the passing attack consists of the same damn routes. OR, trying to feature the fullback as a weapon.

Now last night, Colin had a bad game. It happens. I'm not judging him at all. He's been brilliant a lot this season. That was a night a young QB (people forget he is still a maturing QB) has to learn from and move on.

In conclusion, last night was the perfect storm. All of our fears come to a head. Questionable play calling. Bad blocking (did you see Dobbs beat Staley! WTF). Bad QB play. WR's not fighting for the ball. It was hard to stomach plus it was versus our rival of all people. :smh:

Next week will be very telling. If they don't wake up and execute in Oakland they minus whale start planning for the offseason.

The division is beating us because we're running the same plays we've run for 4 years.

People will always be lazy and say the tape is out on Kap or they've figured him out. He isn't the offensive coordinator how can you figure out a Qb? He isn't calling the plays,

Did they figure out gore too after all these years of production?

No

They figured Roman out. They know what he's going to do before he does it.

Dobbs can beat staley easily when he knows the play and snap count

The offense is horrible the same complaints people have now are the ones they had when alex smith was at the helm and they don't want to admit it

because if they did then they'd have to admit that this is a systematic issue one that is on roman and its just easier to not say that and blame kap.

I'm tired of talking about the negatives.

Kudos to the defense. They were put in a tough spot all night but guys stepped up and made plays when needed. Only giving up 1 TD is brilliant. I only wish Bowman or someone would have gotten on the phone with Fangio and said "no blitzing".

A-A-Ron made his presence known once again. Gotta love that dude.

Shout to Andy Lee "The MVP"... dude was flipping the field all night. When you gross 50 a punt you are doing your thing.

Let's not forget about the cheerleaders. They were pumping this pom-poms with pride.

I totally missed this:

Cassie Baalke (Trent's daughter) tweeted - "Greg Roman can take a hike..the 49ers don’t want you no more.”

:lol::lol::lol:

i totally agree with you on this!1..we got away from what we do best!!..power running the ball and play action!!..our offense looks horrible this season!!..:smh::smh:

It will be interesting this week, leading to the Raiders game. If Harbaugh is really interested in staying the coach for the 49ers, he will fire Roman and promote somebody, or just take over all the play calling duties himself.

He has to do something. To do nothing means his loyalty to Roman goes beyond the team. If nothing is really done then Harbaugh is really gone after this year, and the rumors in the media are 100% true. I am sure he hates to fire his friend, but his so called friend is taking him down with him.

We all know we can beat the Raiders, so that's not the point. The point is, in order to beat Seattle in Seattle, we need drastic change...somewhere. So this week coming up will tell us all we need to know about the coaching staff & the team as a whole going forward.

yeah, i hope they will pull the plug on Greg Roman and let him go!!..if not, him and Harbaugh is gone next year!!

What made me sick to my stomach was I knew why Sherman was laughing and giving the shhhhhh finger, it was because he knew our plays knowing exactly where the ball was going to be thrown...
Man sometimes we play like the cpu video football game, one that only has but 5 plays..:smh:
As soon as the commentators said that Harbs made the comment that the goal was not to make mistakes I knew, we were in trouble then... Why tell a qb not to make mistakes, as if that was his goal before you told him..:smh: Playing safe means playing tight, and when you play tight you are prone to mistakes..
To me we give the Hawks too much credit and wind up playing like scared pussies, when they would be better off playing the game as if it was a regular game..

:smh:

as i have said from day 1 our line is great at run blocking
and average at pass blocking

alex has to get rid of it immediately or run for his life
nothing more on display than today

last week he actually had time and threw it down the field
he isn't scared to do it he simply doesn't have the time.

kap didn't and doesn't have the time to do it either

also running option reads with alex why are we running option reads?????

also

running play action when gore and hunter only had 12 carries between them? and both averaged over 4 yards a carry?

and the game was not out of hand until midway end of 3rd quarter but they refused to run the ball.

there's so much more to it

Good point. The giants are too good for that college shit. After the 3rd time it was stopped completely scrap that shit. It seemed like everytime something positive happened they got cute with that and totally killed momentum.

whenever we get cute we lose PERIOD

the defense stepped up in the 2nd half
but sometimes the defense has to do more.

eli and them had to do nothing on offense cause their defense got 3 to's the stats aren't going to gaudy for eli he had 1 td and under 200 yards passing.

HOWEVER

they ran the ball 30 times

how do we get out rushed?

after he throws the first int and we hold them why don't you calm the game down pound it down their throats like we could and then get the game back into control?

because they wanted to be cute that's why

so why did kap get sacked

that's just simply not true
look at the tape does he make every read correctly no?
are you trying to say if he messes up a read he should be benched? yup most people are.

and as i said the line is great for running and average for pass blocking

and the problem in philly and chicago is the same
when they run deep ass routes for no reason
and when they don't run the ball
giants ran the ball 30+ times today

so why did kap get sacked

that's just simply not true
look at the tape does he make every read correctly no?

Yes that is what happened.

I keep saying that he doesn't read shit. Let me be more specific, he only tries to read once that first option is not there. And as we can see he can't do it.

On that play he was trying to look off the safeties. That means he is trying to get them to lean one way making them think he is going that way then throw to the other. Which is the way the play is designed.

If he was reading the defense and then decided to throw the ball into triple coverage what would you call that?

If he was reading he wouldn't have made the throw. He more than likely would have been sacked instead of the pick.

Rolle picked up on this tendency and picked him twice. Hell the pick I am speaking off he threw it right to him, with three DB surrounding the wr.

Also, ya'll need to stop saying that the O.C. is trying to be cute.

If you was really paying attention you would be able to see that that is our offense, well our pass offense I should say. They call plays that are designed to get that one option open. At least all of our big pass plays are like that.

All the others are five to eight yard routes which you don't have to be all the creative with. Again with Smith going to the first option.

Look harder on Thursday, pay attention don't just watch the game.

And yes if any other QB throws to the "first open" man as you see it that is good. For Alex if that was what he was doing it would be good too but that isn't what he is doing. Damn near all of the other 31 QB can make throws to the second, third and sometimes fourth receiver that is open when that first option isn't.

he isn't limited the coordinators are on some other shit at the moment and i don't get it.
the offense was working it was beginning to gel
run, couple of other play designs and some play action deep routes
the texans don't run ANYTHING complicated they literally have the same offense they've had for eons
they run it and then do play action passes and if it don't work he throws it away...

we can run
we can play action pass we have enough wr's to spread it out and one thing we never do is run screens which always work when we do them
the coordinators are limiting the offense trying to be cute not because he isn't able to do a lot.

coordinators not calling run plays to cool the de's who were pinning their ears back and pass rushing exclusively... they didn't even try and stop the run from the beginning. and they never did we just didn't run.

not running screens

it has everything to do with them trying to outsmart everyone and trying to try shit that doesn't work
this is the nfl why are we running the option read? because we saw other teams doing it?
we're not other teams why are the teams that beat us the teams that did what we were supposed to do but went away from the shit?

why are teams taking our blueprint for how to win in the nfl and using it on us?

why wouldn't we use it right back?

its funny
2 losses
we tried to be cute and went away from what we do and from how we play
run
play action
spread
screens
kap in inside the red zone to create options and that's it

that's the formula for us winning every single team we play
nobody can stop it

but when they try the other shit the shit that is not us
we fuck up.

and again its not limiting the offense cause you can throw deep routes in spread and on play action passes
you can run more than 2 wr's into an 8 man zone and then wonder why alex checks down when the line is letting 3 men in and everything else is zoned up

he needs to blame the coordinators not alex smith.

randy only plays 25% of the snaps on offense.

can't target someone who's not out there 75% of the time now can you?

they have these weapons and refuse to use them

we have to do something about our game plan

shit is stupid

running sweeps when we shouldn't
run qb keepers in the red zone
running straight up the middle

Colin Kap was not our quarterback when these statements were made but greg roman was running the offense.

I totally missed this:

Cassie Baalke (Trent's daughter) tweeted - "Greg Roman can take a hike..the 49ers don’t want you no more.”

:lol::lol::lol:

I was about to say something about this..I thought the situation in Denver was bad..

What really annoys the hell out of me is when offensive coordinators never make adjustments when teams take away the team's best plays...

I understand every team have "bread and butter" plays, but when a defense takes it away your best plays, you would think a team would have new plays or formation drawn up,instead of trying to make the "bread and butter" plays work...

This what drives me crazy about the Broncos offensive coordinator....

We all know we can beat the Raiders, so that's not the point. The point is, in order to beat Seattle in Seattle, we need drastic change...somewhere. So this week coming up will tell us all we need to know about the coaching staff & the team as a whole going forward.

My point is, we've said the part above in bold going into the Bears, Cardinals & Rams game and yet shot ourselves in the foot one way or another and came away with a loss.

Something definitely needs to change. I agree that Roman is taking Harbaugh down with him. He's gotta forget that trusted agent crap and do whats best for the team.

Guess how many offensive coaches we have on the staff that has a say in the offense? 12

Guess how many defensive coaches we have?
6

Hmm.....

Rams 52 Raiders 0

Like I said previously, if we don't beat down the Raiders next week we minus whale pack it in.

Harbaugh has 'unwavering support' for Greg Roman

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...arbaugh-has-unwavering-support-for-greg-roman

...
Speaking on Monday, coach Jim Harbaugh backed his coach when asked if Roman will remain the play-caller.
"Yes," Harbaugh answered, per the San Jose Mercury News' Tim Kawakami. "I have unwavering support for all our coaches and our players."
...
Harbaugh after the game said he always "evaluates" his offense, but at this point no changes will be made.
...
The head coach was also asked Monday about his own future, amid persistent reports that he will be gone from San Francisco after the season.
According to reporters, Harbaugh repeatedly said his only plan was to "attack this week" and that he doesn't concern himself with anything down the line.

BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE !!!

Don't take my word for it though

Now apply that to the passing game as well which he was worse at than running, which was supposed to be his specialty and then realize you can't judge any member of this offense too harshly this season so far.

it's a miracle we make anything happen when the other team knows what the fuck you're doing before you do it

I can respect harbaugh for being so close with Roman that he's willing to lose his job... Happy trails niggas

If a coach allows a OC to call fucked up plays and you don't do shit, while the D.C. is running shit on defense, then what exactly is the fucking coach doing? There has to be some accountability to the bullshit!!

I came back and read this page again. It dawned on me that we're having the Mike Singletary/Jimmie Raye conversation all over again. :smh:

Not only would I fire Hobo after the game, but I would contact the C.I.A and hire their best guys to de-brainwash all the loser crap he programed them over the past season!!!

Notice how we fell into strait beta dog mode as soon as we went for the three point fg, when the game was tied... That shit sent the signal that they had no confidence in both the offense and the defense..:smh:
Since then we were stuck in pussy mode...
We need a coach with balls one that isn't afraid to take chances!!!!!

Their would still be a chance to make the playoffs if the Cards lost but it looks bleek now.

We're the most predictable offense in the league

Whats sad is that we take every last sec on the clock just to run some of the most basic plays I've ever seen in my life!!! Its like they over complicate everything, even on defense and special teams we have the same confused looks, now perhaps you can blame it on the OC, DC and special teams coach, but I think the state of confusion and lack of disipline on and off the field lies square on the shoulder of that dirty, stink, arrogant, one pants wearing HOBO!!!!

When we ran quick plays and when we ran the ball we moved it.

Red zone same issues as the entire Jim era

Kap made the right reads today it wasn't a read the defense issue. It was protection breaking down easily and it was not using gore at all. or hyde really

OC didn't show up today and the defense didn't show up the entire team didn't show up today.

They coach the worst offense in the NFL and it's purely a coaching issue. Purely we run things that work and then never do it again and they don't know what to call in the red zone that has been proven over a 4 year sample size.

I'm not tripping, if they checked out (Jim ) then just leave already.

Man fuck the 49ers this season!!..:angry:..i'm soo fuckin hurt right now i can't even talk about this bullshit!!..:angry:...The worst fuckin offense...:angry:...i'm sick of it!!..:angry:

The offensive line has been injured and atrocious all year. People who can't get pressure or sacks regularly get pressure and sacks against it. Injuries have been a factor but it's been consistently bad the entire season and the offense reflects it.

I'm not too mad though. I've honestly been over it for a while now.
Our whole offensive flow is so shitty compared to everyone else in the NFL.
My only regret is that I wish we would have cashed in at least one of these last 3 years for a championship.

This is complete bullshit !!!
Kap had tunnel vision yet again
Not seeing guys who were wide open
Accuracy issues
Holding onto the ball too long, taking sacks instead of throwing it away
Honestly it looks like the game is too fast for Kap b/c some games it seems like he just can't read defenses fast enough, & he can't find the open man

Kap was not the MAIN problem, but again for another game, he was part of the problem
So stop lying

The MAIN problem though in a nutshell is... the coaches gave up on this team weeks ago & the team has given up on the coaches
Like I said before Harbaugh doesnt give a flying fuck anymore
Looked like the coaches (that includes Harbs) made little to no adjustments this week off

Like I said before... there are FOUR MAJOR ISSUES with this Offense... FOUR... IN THIS EXACT ORDER

1) Coaching
2) O-line
3) Kaepernick
4) Slow possession Wr's

Lets get this season over with...
1) Bring in a new coaching staff, but try to keep the coaches on defense though
2) Draft another starting guard & starting tackle
3) Draft a fast, explosive and/or tall playmaking WR
4) Bring in some competition at QB to push Kap
I'm sooo glad the front office gave Kap a performance based contract, instead of a contract like Jay Cutler's

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

He had accuracy issues. holding the ball too long i disagree with. he completes his damn drop tries to step up and it's a sack. he isn't sitting there for 6 seconds he's literally completing the drop trying to step up like qb's are coached and they're already in there.. that's not holding the ball too long that's horrible blocking.
the only thing he needs to do more and he started to a little bit today was stop trying to hope these slow ass wr's uncover and just get chunk yards up the middle of the field. we got wr's that linebackers can run with.

He hit his check downs and open guys the problem today was as a whole they didn't make plays and that's him included.

Kap was not the MAIN problem, but again for another game, he was part of the problem

You need to get a grip dude. I never said he was without blame but that's what you go to. It was the same shit with Alex smith. You guys just refuse to be unbiased about shit when there's blame it's there he had accuracy issues his interceptions were bad but when we tried to run an offense we did a good job of it. Red zone is the same it's ALWAYS BEEN and the clock issues are the same it's always been.

They haven't made any adjustments the entire season which is what I have been trying to tell you when you've been looking elsewhere.

I agree with this order. I would add Red zone specifically but it can fall under coaching.
