Is anyone really surprised? I guess we'll all have to take solace in knowing Darren Wilson will never feel safe again. For the rest of his life he'll have to look over his shoulder and know that he, and whoever is with him, is a target.

For those that don't know. I love in saint louis. Not too far from Ferguson. Years ago, a friend and I was sitting in my car at a gas station. We were trying to find something so we were checking directions Anyway, out of nowhere, some lights come on a cop stops behind me.
Keep in mind, I was parked for several minutes. The car was not running. It was the middle of the day. He comes up and says that he needed to check into us because we were suspicious. I was utterly confused but I gave my license, info, and called my lawyer. So he goes back to his car, came back a few minutes, gave me my id and paperwork. Then just got in his car and drove off.
That was it. Never said a word. I swore then, never to go back in that town. So when this happened and even know, its a reminder that racism is alive and thriving. I'm fucking tired of it. So gotdamn tired of it.
