If yall want to get technical, TWD shits on this show for two Reasons.
1. The walking dead actually give you the sense of hopeless and loneliness in a post apocalypses. On the strain up until last night, you had no idea how bad it actually was. Its thousands of mother fuckers in the sewer yet everyone still goes on with their every day lives. Has it swept the nation yet, or is it still in a 3block radius? We dont know? The strain has failed on that point.
2. The unrealistic characters. TWD has the most realistic reactions to current situations. The strain they just say "Whats the stupidest thing a person can do? Well make them do that."
You cant compare the two because TWD is about people being dead inside toward each other, and not the actual zombies.
The strain is about one man thinking its a virus and another telling him their vampires and took ten episodes for him to believe their vampires, and the plight of four people 2 unlikeable, against thousands of vampires with seemingly no help from the outside world.
When you make characters unlikeable, its hard to care for their plight or if they die or not. Not only are the characters on TS unlikable you have no sense of danger like they are going to die. Besides Carl, Rick, And Michone no one on TWD feels safe.
