Police just executed an unarmed 17 yr old brotha (shot 10 times)

Re: Mike Brown Deserved to Die? Shortly after shooting, Witness backs officer story F

So now the counties autopsy which hasn't been released has added from unnamed sources that Brown had marijuana in his system but they never released how many gunshots he had suffered.

So as usual the wagons circled and they release nothing except what makes Brown look bad.

That's why I laugh when I hear black folks talk about how Bill Clinton was black.

Black incarceration rates tripled during Clinton era
WASHINGTON—Former President Bill Clinton left a legacy in the prison system during his eight years in office that was more punitive than both of his Republican predecessors Ronald Reagan and George Bush combined, according to a new report from the Justice Policy Institute (JPI).

Furthermore, in the last two decades the rate of Black incarceration more than tripled, rising from 1,156 Blacks in jail per 100,000 Black citizens in 1980 when Mr. Reagan took office, to more than 3,620 per 100,000 Blacks in 1999, near the end of Mr. Clinton’s term, according to JPI’s report, "Too Little, Too Late: Clinton’s Prison Legacy."

After more than a decade in which the Black incarceration rate increased by an average of 138.4 per 100,000 per year, more than doubling the number of Blacks in federal custody between 1980 and 1992, the Black incarceration rate continued to increase by an average of 100.4 per 100,000 during the Clinton era, according to the report.

"President Clinton stole the show from the ‘tough on crime’ Republicans," said Vincent Schiraldi, JPI president on Feb. 19 when his group released its study to reporters. Mr. Clinton was "right to call for criminal justice reform in a recent Rolling Stone interview," Mr. Schiraldi continued, referring to an end-of-his-term interview with the magazine. "He was wrong to do so little about it while he was in office."

Mr. Clinton’s controversial end-of-term pardons—including a major drug "kingpin"—illustrate the inconsistency between Mr. Clinton’s rhetoric and his actions, according to one of the report’s authors.

I know its been posted before, but this picture speaks volumes about the experience...Everyone got a real gun except for the single black cop, yet they are all enforcing the same agenda. How the fuck do you deploy into a situation where everyone around you is set to fight a war and you got a gotdamn paintball gun? :smh:

This picture should accompany every single article about this situation

Some of these pics just make me shake my head

Look people

the police are saying that they can keep it moving and protest...

but they can't stand there.

So you can keep it moving for justice

but they don't want you to simply stand up.

I know it's just wishful thinking, but could you imagine busing in seniors, oxygen using or disabled Americans so AARP/Department of Aging/Americans with disabilities can bring in a class action lawsuit for being denied right to protest due to age and physical disabilities?

The study blamed the surge in prisoners on Clinton administration initiatives that provided more money to states for prisons, police officers and crime prevention programs. The 1994 crime bill, which gave $30 billion to states, was a major factor, said Vincent Schiraldi, president of the Justice Policy Institute. Other factors included tougher sentencing and the abolition of parole, he said.

Republicans are thought to have more punitive crime policies than Democrats, but the opposite was true during the Clinton administration, Schiraldi said.

Actually her arrest was a good thing. If she is a holocaust survivor, the outrage from Jewish people might make the ADL or other advocacy groups involved.

Rachel Maddow was discussing the selective release of info by the Ferguson PD, specifically the convenience store video, and how the DOJ specifically told the local PD not to release it. The did it anyways. She also mentioned the leaking of the toxicology reports :smh:

He robbed the store. Stealing would have been being sneaky about it... robbery is when you take something and punk the person you are taking it from. He clearly bullied the owner and took the shit in front his face = robbery.

Hmmmmm....time for another person to hit the hand confirmation thread.

Amazing. Dudes are trying so hard to clear a cop they will post that all three witnesses, none of whom know each other, all conspired to give the exact same testimony.

This interview was only a few hours after Mike Brown was shot but I'm sure that on the same day as the shooting these three people got together to get their stories straight.

What is Happening in Ferguson, MO?

This lesson provides an opportunity for students to learn more about the situation in Ferguson, grapple with their thoughts and feelings about the case, analyze the militarization of the police and reflect on activism in order to effect change.
Summary

On August 9, 2014, Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old black teenager who was about to start college, was allegedly shot multiple times and killed by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. Following the shooting, hundreds of people gathered at the scene of the shooting to organize vigils to remember Michael Brown as well as protest to demand answers as to why he was shot. Over the course of the next several days, these protests, the majority of which were peaceful, were reportedly met with a heavily armed police department. As tensions escalated, reports of police using tear gas and rubber bullets on protesters, as well as protests becoming violent, emerged. Missouri's Governor stepped in and replaced local police with the state highway patrol. The Department of Justice has launched a civil rights investigation into the circumstances surrounding the case and will perform their own autopsy. On August 15—almost a full week after Michael Brown was shot—the police department released the name of the officer who allegedly shot him.

The story has captured the attention of the nation and the media. It struck a chord with many people who perceive the situation as emblematic of a trend in which a disproportionate number of young unarmed black men have been killed by police officers. The story continues to make front page headlines because of the way the police department in Ferguson and St. Louis have handled various aspects of the case and its aftermath, as well as the ongoing clashes between police and protestors. Michael Brown’s death and the circumstances around it raise issues of race, inequality, bias, power, police relations with the communities they serve, activism and social and economic justice.

did you read or just type

http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/18/us/missouri-teen-shooting/index.html

Forensics consultant Shawn Parcells, who assisted Baden, said the findings are consistent with witness reports that Brown may have been shot as he walked away and that he was shot again with his hands up.

Hey I believe the girl in the CNN link...I also believe in the Easter rabbit, tooth ferry and Santa claus(an overweight white man that breaks in your house and leaves gifts, while black people break in your house and steal those gifts lol)

As the autopsy gets released.

not an accident

they are covering for the cop.

who is still not in custody. The president or the governor needs to call the u.s. marshal and get them on the case to track him down as a fugitive from justice.

don't let him come back whenever he feels

bring him to the slammer.
