that cameo by dude from the wire tells me where this series gets its inspiration...when ghost started crying before offing that young bull tells me he aint built for this shit plus his lost in love shit with angela.

u might be right. but he has like 4 shows that are coming on tv plus movies. then you add the music, touring and shit. i would back out let others run the shit. but i give a season tops. i dont think he will do 3 seasons.

Considering how low-key it was, this is/was perhaps the most important episode of the season...and the outright bitchiest. Tasha was at her most sympathetic in the face of her man's indiscretions--ironically getting advised to do exactly what Tommy suggested she could do last week--and, in a bizarre way, so was James for a couple of hot minutes (Omari Hardwick finally acted, y'all!). Angie was...Angie, only naked. Holly was just a little Lady Macbeth, inevitable as it was, to Tommy's cracked-out--literally--and increasingly at odds with his friend Macbeth. And Kanan is indeed the gangsta Palpatine of the whole thing...which makes Pink Sneakers his superhot Darth Maul (seriously, Leslie Lopez looked ridiculously beautiful in the one scene she popped up in).

50 is a genius it's like air time on the radio...the more you listen to it and associate it with your affinity for the show it grows on you these are all marketing tactics 50 using.....
I dont think this will interfere with 50 hustle...you gotta remember 50 got his own production company like tyler perry he probably filmed all the scenes for this season in about a week.

Rolla was like Ghost's son. Rolla said it in his dialog, "Neither Tommy or Ruiz could have convinced you to kill the boy that you raised in the streets." That's how Rolla knew that Kanan had something to do with it.
In that situation, I can see why Ghost felt like he had to take Rolla out himself. It would've made him look soft if he let Tommy take care of it. Plus Tommy needed to know that he could still trust Ghost with their main business.
I think that 50 might kill himself off the show now that it's beginning to go in the right direction.
I see that 50 took the opportunity to market his SMS Audio headphones.
