If Melo decides he wants to go to the Bulls, they have to convince the Knicks to take back Boozer in a S&T, basically.

yeah good luck with that hot shit.
Amnesty means they still paying him....
Chicago moving on, Melo getting offered max deals is huge...
Brian Windhorst: The Bulls are working on signing F Nikola Mirotic, sources told ESPN. Twitter @WindhorstESPN

You also have to wonder if LeBron is giving your team a real shot at him, or if he's just trying to tell the Heat to step up their game.
he told them to step up their game by opting out early
he's taking meetings now because the heat haven't done shit
literally
nothing
You think getting an Anthony Morrow or Gasol keeps him there?
@EthanJSkolnick does it feel like LeBron is sabotaging Miami's efforts to strengthen the team around him? Max money, non committal
Still quality FAs on the market that can play a vital role in the heat getting back to the finals for 5 straight years..
The big names in FA don't make or break shit..
Especially when all the FAs that were supposed to pack up and run to Miami, take pay cuts just for the opportunity to play with the 'Big 3' gave the Heat their asses to kiss and bounced elsewhere when they realized the Heat were going to pay them minimum wage because their cap is fucked up with the 'Big 3'
Yeah, they don't make or break shit..... NOW they the are all gone!![]()
Bills & Beat what y'all think about that target list I put together...
I think Pat can still put together a championship team. The waiting players are:
Pg. Napier,Cole
Sg.Wade
Sf.James(Ray Allen probably package deal)
Pf.Bosh
C.Haslem
If I was him, I would've made these cats my targets from jump...
Pg - Greivis Vasquez/Chauncey Billups
Sg - Anthony Morrow/Vince Carter
Sf - Al-Farouq Aminu/Francisco Garcia/Richard Jefferson
Pf - Pau Gasol/Kris Humphries/Jordan Hill/ Ryan Kelly
C - Jermaine Oneal/Emeka Okafor/Ryan Hollins
I'm sure he did express interest to them, but how u let the Pistons first to sign somebody decent. Lebron is waiting on you(Ray Allen as package deal), Lebron is waiting on your actions. Im offering Gasol slightly more than the MLE early.
I said Vasquez would be a good fit plus he got some height on him..
Vince would be a good option of the bench too, don't like Morrow..
Okfar Gasol or Hollis are good at the 5.. If they want Gasol gotta offer more than MLE
Heat keep the core 3 all they have to do is sure up pg which they have in a young up start and center..
Get some complimentary bench guys and that's it
Anyone follow @Josh_Tep? Apparently he broke Peyton to Broncos about 10 days before it happened, which was his claim to fame. Now he's claiming to know that LeBron is once again a Cavalier.
Last night his timeline went nuts because he posted this long diatribe about LBJ to Cleveland is a done deal and he's already told MIA he is not coming back. I don't know how reliable he is, but an interesting read nonetheless.
Here's his whole feed: https://mobile.twitter.com/Josh_Tep
Here are some of the interesting nuggets:
@Josh_Tep: LeBron officially tells MIA he won't be returning. It'll be breaking news tomorrow. He'll announce Cavs decision by end of next week.
@Josh_Tep: As I stated last night, LeBron is already a Cleveland Cavalier. Informed Heat of departure and informed Cavaliers of his intention to join.
@Josh_Tep: Some may already understand that LBJ and Mav Carter have virtually zero power in MIA. The show is run by Pat Riley, and Pat Riley only, in which has seriously destroyed any chances of LeBron signing with them, as LBJ has already notified MIA of decision to leave. With that said major money under the table is in play for Mav Carter if he can successfully convince LeBron James to return to Cleveland, where both Carter and LeBron will have full run of the city as they did when LeBron was first drafted here. Dan Gilbert has ALREADY agreed to take a step back from his role as owner, and allow the players and management to make their own choices (something he was unwilling to do in past).
@Josh_Tep: After Finals loss, LeBron texted former coach Dru Joyce II. The text read as follows, plain and simple: "I want to be back in Cleveland"
What about Gasol at the 5?Nice list if you can land most
you need more shooting
spo offense you need multiple people who can hit wide open 3's from penetration
In
which is why i don't see gasol going to the heat.
they could post up lebron and have him play with this back to the basket right now in the half court but they don't
they could do it with bosh too
they don't so why would they do it with gasol suddenly?
yall will be complaining about how all gasol does is shoot jumpers fro 15 feet within the 2nd month
Man Miami always operated late into free agency, the problem is Lebron added pressure...
What about Gasol at the 5?
What about . Gasol at the 5?
Why?
Can't they just amnesty boozer?
BeatDown, apparently him and Gilbert have peace'd it out face to face. I will say that if Bron goes back, Gilbert should make a public apology at the announcement.
Cleveland makes the most sense now. If Wade was Wade, Miami would make the most sense. But Wade is a shell of his former self. You can't play only 2/3 of the games on suspect knees and think you should still make $12mm. He should be making sub-$10 (and possibly coming off the bench.....and spend the summer working on a mid-range J). The Cavs have a young squad, pieces to shop in a trade, and 3 #1 picks next year. Miami has.....?
I wouldn't have given the guy breaking this story time of day but two things 1) LeBron requested max money. With him requesting max, it pretty much eliminated the Heat, bc him taking max would mean Wade taking a huge pay cut, which we know isn't happening. 2) Why in the world would Kyrie sign an extension in that place without some assurance that Bron would be coming?
Again, this could all be hype and he goes back to Miami, but the story does pass the laugh test.
