You need to install fusion with the xbmc.org wizard. Google - xbmc fusion, go to the I install page and follow the instructions. The xbmc wizard once installed has instant fixes (oneclick) for most of the issues.

I can see it being too cumbersome for a non-tech adult, but your kids (if you have any) will probably blaze through the menus like it's nothing. With that said, I'm in the same boat as you. I don't plan on getting rid of cable completely, but the g-box is a great entertainment add-on.
With these boxes I think I've said more than once that it isn't really a cable killer per say, but something that will def let you drop down to the basic bare bones cable package available.
Even that could save you hundreds of dollars per year

Just got mines. It's definitely better than any other set top box I have tried. Mash up alone is worth the price. Not to mention the android side where you can access google drive, Google Music and all the apps in the play store.
This damn box is flames!
get the mash up addon and go into live streams
I have the apple TV 3 too but the gbox is ready to go straight out the box with no need to jailbreak. Also it has USB ports unlike the ap3 so you can view things of of a flash drive etc. The ap3 is ok but I find that the android interface is a lot more user friendly and a lot less proprietary. Bottomline gbox is a better option than any other set top box I have experienced.
Gbox is dual core..
AFTV is quadcore...
I would go for the AFTV...there around the same price..

The xbmchub group has a similar addon to Mashup called "Cliq"....also the "Istream" addon is another goodie

yo must of my "tv" addons are not working; Project Free TV, TV Online, and several others give me script errors how do you fix this shit?
Join the forum on xbmchub....Each creator of the addon are members there...You can ask questions there...
Check the web address on your computer browser to make sure the sight is not down 1st(Project Free TV, TV Online)
when you first install, you need to go in and install fusion. then go to XBMCHUB wizard and configure XBMC for your specific platform (android, WIN, IOS, etc)
after that you can go back into the addon and apply fixes to the addons
what? i dont understand.. I have fusion and all that good shit I fucked around with XBMC Maintainence/Wizard a few times it didnt fix shit.
I keep getting an update failure message for XBMC add ons...anybody else? So is this stopping me from getting new movies?

Just copped one for $88. I had a media player box die on me in the other bedroom. So this G-box was about the same price as a plain media player and I get more for the money.
