Recently, there has been a debate in the fragrance community about Reyane Insurrection II Pure
smelling like Aventus. I brought it from www.perfumeland.com and for less than $25 it smells close enough...
I also have Insurrection Dark
coming from jdtradingsite.com (Also less than $25). It's supposed to smell like Tonka Imperiale or A*Men Pure Havane.
Either way both are very good...

Supposed to be similar to Dior Homme Intense. I don't know because I never smelled DHI. But this is real good for colder weather...]

This gets hated by fans of the original M7 made by tom ford when he was still at ysl, never got to try that one or the reformulated one after it so I can't give a comparison on it. Anyway this shit sexy and lasts long on my skin, draws compliments too

I need to try some more Bonds, I tried about 6 of them an didn't care for any of them except wall street... an even that wasn't special. I much prefer Creed. Been trying to hype myself up to buy a bottle of Aventus since its 1 of my favorites but I ain't trying to spend that paper right now

I never heard of that so I googled it. Way above my price range at $725 - $1250. At that price, that ish better have every female that you encounter wanting to give the ass to you and cook for you afterwards.

Tried a sample of that Chanel Bleu. Just didn't WOW me for some reason. Next purchase will be between Creed Virgin Island Water and Bond No.9 New York Oud.

Bleu, like Gendarme and Creed O.V (Original Vetiver) are pretty generic, mainstream, inoffensive, decent smelling -what cologne folks will call "crowd pleasers".
not in the sense that they are extremely popular, but they can be worn in a crowd and generally speaking, they will be widely accepted. No one is going to run up on you and say you smell great, but no one will complain either. If I have to go somewhere, say a movie with a date, or church on Easter- I wear "safe" scents like those.
considering we are in spring/summer, I would probably choose V.I.W (Virgin Island Water) as the first of your two purchases.
V.I.W is absolutely fantastic in the warmer weather. I'm not sure how much actual oud is in the Bond (Creed's Royal Oud has next to none), but that stuff (oud) can get pretty cloying in the heat.
Excellent points Vertigo. I just ordered some samples of Amouage from the Perfume Shop. I don't think the Bond No. 9 Oud has the same intense as Creeds Oud. I actually prefer Bond No. 9's. I'll probably take your advice and go with Virgin Island Water. But with these Amouage samples coming my list may change quickly.
I went to Lord & Taylors yesterday to purchase the Versace Eros. While I was there, I decided on a whim to try the cologne Gold by Jay Z. I was very surprised at how good it smelled! I sprayed some on both my wrists and not only did I get an immediate compliment by another shopper, I also got a compliment by a female 3 hours later in the grocery store. She stopped me and said I smelled incredible and wanted to know what I was wearing.
If I hadn't had already bought the Versace, I might have purchased the Gold instead. It smells excellent on me!

I just got the new 1 million INTENSE this past weekend.I thought it would be hard to top my Bond no 9 "Nuits de Noho" but after 8 years I found something. This is my new shit for the 2014. I brought out the new year right. This one is a crowd favorite. Everyone asks me what the hell it is whenever I pass by
