How you get a jet from the fort? I keep getting shot down/blown up.
Do the missiles lock on to the tanks? Or do you use the machine guns on the jet to take them out?

those bitches was annoying w/ that shit...I blew up one of their tank evil-something when he came off eventually...some dude named killofallbosses...I blew him in his tanks twice...blew it up the first time...kill him a few more times on merit...he ran...got a tank...blew that shit up...killed him a few more times then he ran to his apt...the tank shit is getting so played out now...I'm just start camping by the movie theater...some funny shit w/ that killofallbosses dude...he was hiding somewhere and I couldn't see him...but I saw "my" mechanic...I was wondering what dude was doing there then I seen a nice lil whip and realized the other dude was tryna make an escape...I couldn't find him but he was nearby so I just blew up his car...dude was tight

Tanks definitely fucking the game up. Why the fuck do they have unlimited ammo too? I'm good with them if they put a cool down period on them, and limit the ammo. That would even shit up a bit. I get a chopper and I get as high as I can positioned not too far alongside the base and I parachute down right into the hangar..by the time I'm in the hangar I'm just then getting four stars.

I stay in the air bruh..I've done private sessions to improve flying the jet..I've got it down to where I can fly under the freeway underpasses..working on navigating the LS river now..btw..two direct hits with a jets cruise missiles take out a tank.

If you drive it into the back of a bus, it will launch the tank into the air. Most likely used a CBob.

All i've ever used are the buzzard in free roam & like Leroy said missles don't lock on unless it's on police vehicles.
Just use your tank and catch them at the police station when they try to get a new one.
