I understand the gods point......but its all just entertainment, and it needs to be kept in its proper perspective. I dig action Bronson, as an artist. Is his style sharking Ghost? Yeah, but its still good music, IMO. Listening to ghost or action is like watching a movie or reading a book or playing a videogame....its all bulshit entertainment. How many times can the story of drugs, violence, and sex be told? Infinite ways, and that's the BEAUTY OF HIP-HOP!!!! Its all the same shit told by a different poet.

So the young white kid who's 10 that discovers Action Bronson may not due his research enough on Hip Hop to know dude style is from Ghostface. but the culture of hip hop suffers. I like Action too and dude pays MAD homage to Ghost but he is telling the truth. Its like when Lupe forgot the lyrics to that Tribe Called Quest song on stage and when he tried to rap over TROY..its just music but as culture hip hop has rules and ideas and legacies you have to respect.

You can't expect any group of people that fill up 75%+ of the capacity of hip-hop shows to NOT start to form an interest in the art themselves and pursue it. If it was the other way around and there was NO white people buying tickets or albums from hip-hop artists, we'd be saying fuck them for that too, esp since it looks like they're the reason most these artists are getting money since they buying the tickets at least. Not just to be confrontational, but what does it matter what "THEY" think about the culture of hip-hop. I control me and mines, and you yours, and so on....I AM HIP-HOP, and any body that knows ME knows about my music tastes. I try my best to explain MY hip-hop to anyone who will listen. But at the end of the day, people are going to do them, and if some artist is wack, but gets shine, what can be done? I have a ton of hip-hop/rap that the average black male hasn't heard, let alone white people, and its GOOD music. But is that music invalidated because of the lack of exposure? Jamar's opinion is widely supported by hip-hop purists, but as with anything culture related, it will be abused, stolen, distorted, and recycled to death. As black people, we just have to keep creating, and let that creativity be OUR thing.
