I'm going to give Spo the benefit of the doubt that he wont leave parker much time to run around so much. You cant stand around and have one person hold on to the ball while parker runs around 3-5 screens. You have to force the person to make a quick move with the ball.

Better coaches than Spol have tried to figure that shit out for years to no avail. Parker is too efficient and intelligent to be locked down too long. That last play where he negated LeBrons advantages by running his ass through all those picks proved that. The way to beat the Spurs is not to try to figure out what they are doing but to force them to adapt to what you want to do! Anything else is fools gold and will come back to bite you in the ass. Spol doesn't want to get into a coaching war with Pop, that's a no win battle for him!

When a team takes good shots, especially through an offensive system that is designed to recover defensively on missed shots, it's really difficult to run. Whenever the spurs take rushed bad shots it allows Miami to run.

My main example is when Manu took that horrible 3 late in the 4th that cause the heat to run and set ray for the 3 he got fouled on.

Plus they can't run if they don't cause turnovers. I have seen many teams fall to less talented teams because they rely on athleticsm. The heat simply need to cause more havoc on defense.

Bron is not a coach. But being a leader require some sort of in game coaching attributes. Bron problem is that he is a hybrid player. He does just about everything for the heat. That is one of the main reasons he goes away from what he should have done.

The spurs ball handling is too good to pressure it. they're not elementary enough to trap like you did indy.

If the spurs shoot jumpers then you'll be able to get those baskets. that's what will fuel runs and get you out in the open.

you guys out rebounded them but the pace wasn't pushed enough.

the team are even. its simply going to come down to execution at the end of each game. it's only 1 game and the heat can and will bounce back from that.

just have to be strong down the stretch. the live ball turnovers killed yall last night

Tony Parker has improved tremendously over the years. when he first came in the league he relied on his speed to get him into the paint, not to score, but to set up his teammates. In the 2004 playoffs against the lakers, he killed us by getting in the paint. after that second game, we caught on to him and stopped him from getting in the paint. His jump shot has improved and he is a much more focused point guard. he has had a great year so far.

I think the bad shooting is in Bosh's head now, especially late in the game. That and getting torched by Ole Ass Duncan...

One thing I will say about the Big 3, as talented as they are, all of them to a point seem to be emotionally fragile...

LeBron adjusts his own game because Wade bitched (to prove how ridiculously talented he is though, who else can have a 18/18/10 game in the finals and be told they played sub-par)

Wade, who has for 70% of the playoffs has been a hinderance more than a help, has the audacity to DEMAND to be more involved with the offense... No talk of stepping it up on defense, doing other things to help the team since his shot hasn't been consistent, just 'Get me more shots'... If I am a Heat player, fan, that selfishness would piss me the fuck off...

i mean the spurs were a lottery team and they had david robinson. his 2nd year in the nba he won it all.... and yes HE won it all he was the mvp...his 2nd year...

he doesn't like attention at all... he hates being on Camera says the least amount he can and is out..
