Shaq is beyond horrendous as a game analyst. His entire assessments- regardless of player or situation or circumstance- essentially always boils down to "X player needs to do more". Chuck is breaking down game play and player/coaching contributions/shortcomings along with defensive schemes Durant is facing and as usual Shaq gives some long winded bullshit that only says that Durant isnt doing enough. he's really not. put him on gasol and gasol isn't towering over him like he does everyone else. and he has 6 fouls he can commit to break shit up.
Had to fast forward to catch up a bit, but just watched a play where Brooks has Durant on Gasol (mistake #1), then he has Durant walking the ball up the court and running the offense (mistake #2), Durant creates, dishes to a open Collison who blows the layup. Durant is bodied down low trying to crash the boards while Collisons miss starts the break and results in a open 3pointer for Memphis. Memphis by 10 and any momentum is crushed. Im willing to bet the Thunder dont recover from that one play.
