Sooo.....I made the switch to the S3...

man i've pics coming out 3 different sizes:smh::angry:.

how come when looking @ pics ive sent, i cant scroll(sideways) to view them?

i have to exit out of pic, to view another!

this is taking some getting use to!

have to find a s3 forum.

I only have 3G from what I can make of it.

Try playing a video using WiFi, if it plays that tells you it's the signal. Depending on the size of the video sometimes it doesn't play if you don't have a 4G signal.

Dont notice that big of a difference so far. Folders are now grouped icons, a few new menu items.

Gingerbread to ICS was more of a leap in features than ICS to JB

like i said before, Jelly Bean is about stuff under the hood. Minimal things that wont be noticed until pointed out. Google Now is a great feature. Try it out. Also, you can now take pics while recording a video with the stock camera app.You can also expand the notifications in the notification area. There are a lot more features, you just have to discover them.

I did check out the new list of features..

You were already able to take pics during video before jb. I dont fuck with google now, too intrusive. That other stuff is window dressing

I guess the main thing is the project butter features.

i sent this pm to coco, but am posting here for additional

suggestions, comments.

i dl'ed lookout, as you suggested.

had avg @ 1st.

ques is does lookout drain your battery?

seems like since ive been using it, my battery

dies in no time. whats your experience?

i havent touched my phone, & its down to 95%.

thks.

-i close all apps from task manager, after each use & clear ram!

have power save on, screen brightness is @ 1/4 of full use!

WTF why is my battery losing power so fast?

my batt is @ 93 now, & i have barely touched phone!!!!!

Used lookout for 2 phones now. Never had the battery issue. What other programs did you install after? Do they use background data to sync? Speaking of sync, have you checked those settings?

Ok question why does some of my text messages come in on my stock msm and Gosms as anonymous or private? If I want to see them in have to go to the Att messaging app, I've checked the settings but can't find a fix.

Any suggestions?

I was having this same problem with handcents. I went into the stock messaging and enabled then disabled notifications and that has seem to fix it for now.
