Fucking Atf Siezed My Strap!!!

wellp, either he doesn't have a membership or internet access anymore or he truly was incarcerated. either way, he was niave for trusting another person, if that's really what happened. Hope he learned a lesson.

Removing serials are done for a reason. It was not the smartest move buying back a piece back that could be dirty. Then you take it in?? You could have gotten more than your gun taken. Be glad it didnt come back with blood on it.

Exactly! You could've ended up paying for a Murder charge in buying that thing back. Consider yourself lucky.

Brah...The consensus is that you should not have purchased, bought back, etc a firearm that had the serial# scratched off, regardless if you owned it previously intact.

The bigger question is if your "neighbor" was legally authorized to purchase a fire arm, why in the fuck did he/she scratch off the serial #, and more importantly, what was your thought process in purchasing a firearm with a scratched off serial#

Shit seems suspect:eek:. You might want to retain an attorney, real talk, just to protect your ass, because I smell bullshit:smh:

I bought the strap legally form the store with the number on it. Months later I sold it to my neighbor. He scratched off the serail.

how? doesnt it have to ship to a transfer agent? dont they confirm shits straight?

It was weird. I bid on the gun, won the bid, but never sent payment for it. A month later, I was contacted by the gun shop telling me that the gun I had bid on and won had arrived. I need to double check this shit because it happened a couple of years ago. I'd forgotten all about this actually.

How the fuck did I miss this thread? You niggas got me crying tears in here :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

They sent you a gun you never paid for?

When you buy online you have to have it transferred to a licensed broker, they call the FBI and run your info and the serial of the gun before they hand you the weapon.

1. I got the strap from the store.
2. Years after I've owned it, I sold to a cat. For his home. He aint a killa, he aint, a thug.
3. I told him to scratch the muhfucker off incase he did something with it.
4. I buy it back, from him.
5. Unknowingly didn't know the repercussions of the scratched off serial. But hey it's mine, I got proof. It should be returned. But I know it aint.

dude you could get a counterfeit twenty dollar bill from a store, and prove you got it from the store with a receipt does that receipt make that counterfeit bill a legal tender...?

or is it still counterfeit..???

Okay retards listen. I bought it back from the dude I sold it to. I provided proof that it was mine. I had a copy of the serial. I wouldn't be stupid to take a gun to a store If i felt it was dirty.
The only Mistake I made was not knowing the implications. It's a clean strap with no bodies on it. Just the scratched off serial could make it look suspect.

Bro, the scratched off serial # makes it ILLEGAL, not suspect, your paperwork nothwithstanding! We all get that you see it as clean but when your boy scratched that shit off, he made the gun unusable by YOU, the law abiding gun owner.

Those ATF boys are, as we speak, running checks on that gun to see if it was used in a crime that they have on record. That's why they gave you the paperwork with their names on it. If anything comes up, they're gonna knock on your door again.

The OP is four years into his bid already....

I had already directed them to send any gun auctions won to a local gun store. But, after I won the gun I bid on, I never paid. They sent it to the gun store anyway, so I only had to pay the transfer fee. And they don't call the FBI; only run your background with the state police. And I don't have a record anyway.
