peeps that are grandfathered through att.. what happens if u tether 2 much?? will att kick u out of the grandfathered unlimited plan? also people for the peeps that are rooting phones do u lose ur lte capability.. my phone was rooted and i will get the 4g sign but not the lte sign.. i went online and read that rooting messes with the radio bands and interferes with lte signals.. i unrooted my phone and my lte sign popped up and my phone moved faster.. it was a noticeable difference in speed..

I have a grandfathered ATT unlimited data plan. If you have one of their 4G LTE phones, like the galaxy S3, you don't get throttled until 5GB.

Go into your APN settings,

Go to where you edit the AT&T LTE APN

scroll to APN type and enter (no spaces):
default,admin,fota,mms,supl,hipri

then the next entry is APN protocol and select:
IPv4/IPv6

then menu and SAVE.

Reboot.

You can test your before and after speeds with the app from Speedtest. This shit is the troof!

I ALWAYS buy my shit from Best Buy...kinda mad they dropped the price $50 and I've only had my S3 for a month now

I copped the S2 in February on my broadband card line...Best Buy at the time had a buyback program for $30...chick said I would get $280 for the phone in a 6-12 month range...I took it back last month and they gave me $350

Then it wasn't the rooting. Was your config on your phone. Need to see what others say about the ROM you install. See if they have that issue on your device and ROM combination.

I personally 'live' on xda reading and contributing as well. People will help you with issues over there.

I was using CM10 Nightlies Until I found the Frosty Version for T-Mobile customers. Frosty is actually an official Jellybean leak. I Started with FrostyJB_4.1.1-M2 (The version in the video below) but I have since changed to FrostyJB_4.1.1-v2 I like the Note 2 Camera & Gallery so I'm putting it back on the v2 version this morning. The GS3 is the fucking business. No way you can do all of this shit with an Iphone.
