I didn't get the otterbox, because I don't like how big they are. I got another speck case like I had for my iphone.

Yeah you right, i'll probably get the defender series because i hate messing with those screen shields you have to put on yourself
My husband has it on his iphone, I never did, but I couldn't tell the difference between mine and his, but all know you have to keep cleaning all of them.

Turn GPS off, only use it when u using navigation.
Turn Bluetooth off, only use it when u are using your headset.
Go in to Application Manager and disable apps u dont use. For me, that was Yahoo News, Finance, Wifi Direct, S Voice, S Suggest, etc.
Turn the brightness on your screen down.
You gotta get the right one. The cheap ones get dirty. I forgot which one I have on my GS3 but that shit never gets cloudy or dirty. You can't even tell it's on there.

Ok I have to post about the battery life. I took it off charge about 7 this morning played pandora all day, texted, talked, surfed this board, emailed, went to dinner, let niece play games on it and I'm just putting my phone on charge because it's at 23 percent, if that's not good battery life then maybe I'm confused on what's good.

You just going through the I got something new shit. Luckily, Bestbuy has a 30day return. The phone in my sig will be out by then. Then you can really b happy.
I do gotta give Samsung credit on a problem they had when the S3 was first released. I would have the brightness at 100% and as soon as I would step outside I coudnt see my screen for shit. And my friend who had a iPhone 4s would have his at 50% and it would be clear as day. I was gonna takemthenS3 back cuz I thought my phone was fucked up but I saw on android forums that everyone was having this problem and that some update was supposed to fix it which it did

This is my 3rd android phone and it has the best battery life of any of them. It definitely is the best android phone on the market right now.

Yup. Covers the entire screen. It's called invisible shield dry. It's 29.99. Comes in two pieces. Has a cover for the screen and the back cover. Razor thin, ultra tough and military grade. A must to have!!!!!! Have the people at your carrier store put it on for you. Once it's on you never have to change it!!
that's great to hear because I am a heavy phone user. I do a little of everything talking music playing,gaming and so on. All my friends who have used droid phones have complained about battery life. It has been the main reason I haven't made the jump.

I will continue to make updates as I see them on what I'm seeing that's selling me on my decision.
Weekly I listen to downloaded versions of different recorded shows from www.seethatagain.blogspot.com and with my iphone I had to download it drop it itunes, but with I'll say the android market I can play if from the site on my phone or d/l it to Google play and listen right then.
I know I'm not tech saavy like some of you but I tried it several times with my iphone and it didn't work.
I can only say what's working for Coco right now, and from the simple side of things for me.

Got mine on Thursday and loving it, screen size and clarity are amazing. Had a Bionic where the HD video camera was clear but the pictures were shitty, not on my S3 both very nice. Only thing missing is zumocast i had on Bionic, found a hack for the S3 the music and pics work but videos won't. I'll get it working tho

And so far I can't complain. I am having to get use to it because I haven't had an android in a while, but as of yet, I haven't begun to miss my iphone.
I was able to do the trade-in at Bestbuy and it was pretty much an even trade, I got $210 for my iphone 4, and I was due for an upgrade. So out of pocket I paid $23.
Only thing I'm getting pissed at right now is on tapatalk I can't find this board, but I can find the BGOL work board.
So once I find the apps, and get use to the phone and the features then I'm good.
This is the one I got, because they didn't have the red at Bestbuy.
