~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 3-1)~-~-~-~

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

miami might i repeat might get one game in this series....they cant rebound and they pg play is pitiful. i know spoelstra aint gonna play all them bum big men he got, that would sure speed a blowout quickly.hell he actually cut the rotation to like 7 didnt he? miami needs a lot of factors to stay to win this series. lebron gotta score 35 -40 points every game, d wade 25, the bench gotta get some kinda production. but to me the main reason....the thunder win....scott brooks versus spoelstra.coaching.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

OKC Length is a problem.....they create a lot of turnovers....

lebron and wade will meet ibaka andp perkins inside totally different from anyone they faced so far. Not roy hibbert,Not KG,

hell durant is 6'10 with long arms the only short dude in the starting five is westbrook and he is quick as hell he about 6'3 though.

OKC in 6

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

Seem like most folks resulted to using logic and picking OKC.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

Heat in 7

Charmers hits the big shot

Like I stated you mofos had the Spurs beating okc before the series started how that turn out?

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

So then rose will be zeke and snatch up 2 rings in a row?

I'm good with that we would still have more rings than the heat.

Logic says Miami. OKC haven't played a great defense yet. But let the games begin.

Was it last year Kevin got his, what the year before Westbrook got his???
It's gonna be interesting to see if they can sign both Harden and Ibaka.

kevin last year russel this year. harden and ibaka are up at the same time.

If spo continues to bring bosh of the bench heat winning in 6

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

If spo continues to bring bosh of the bench heat winning in 6

explain this to me?

because bosh's impact off the bench isn't gonna help like it did last series where boston honestly struggled to score at all times because of their lack of depth and the aging players struggling.

you can hem up 36 year olds i don't know about 22 year olds.

bosh coming off the bench puts him against one of the okc bigs who have nothing to lose (collison aldrigde muhammed) and i wouldn't risk bosh getting beat up because of it... if those players foul out it don't mean much of nothing at all...

you need OTHERS to come off the bench.
you need bosh to be counted in with the starters scoring to compete...

nobody is shutting nobody down this series so you gotta take all the points you can get

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

Speaking to folks offline the general consensus is...

Durant > LeBron
Westbrook > Wade
Harden > Bosh

Its basically OKC is better and will smash them, but if Heat lose theyre a failure and choked  Heat are huge underdogs.

that's just not true lol as far as the comparisons go.
the only fair one is lebron and durant as far as position and role on the team go.

i find the opposite though majority of the people i talk to offline say that the heat have this locked up

It's going to come down to who turnover the ball the least

Okc leads the league in TOs correct? Plus as I stated the 2 reg season games Russ struggled

As for Bosh I think spo should bring him off the bench the first half to see how effective he is

Mohammad, collision or aldridge can't guard bosh ain't got nothing to do with they don't have anything to lose

From this stand point, its seem highly unlikely this thunder management wont be able to have their surge protector and harden.
I'm kinda in the rim, that harden can and may get top 2nd tier money, maybe the same for Ibaka. Unless somebody comes and offer max money, which they will, unless the thunder can get an extension done this off season.

West - max
KD - max
Harden - top 2nd tier
Surge - top 2nd tier

this is the problem, what they did/do in the regular season you always say means nothing but now it does? lol

they don't lead in turnovers now do they?
they take great care of the ball now right?
so i'll go with how they're playing now and have been in the playoffs
over some time in mid march or something.

bringing bosh off the bench isn't gonna change much but the match up.

bosh against ibaka or bosh against the others.

and its not them stopping him, its them not caring about being in foul trouble and playing him aggressively and it won't matter if they have 1 or 4 fouls cause their assignment would be to make sure you don't give him space....

collinson can move lateral with him and bosh isn't a post up type.

muhammed is bigger but if bosh brings him out then he can whoop him.

aldridge is a wild card... we have to see if he even plays but he's a big body

but that's the key thing imo. you need to start bosh to force the okc starters to work... i mean if you start haslem and anthony... against perkins and ibaka....that's advantage okc all night.

and then when bosh comes off the bench it won't be that big of an advantage for the reasons i mentioned above about how to play him....

gm's gave nene max money
both will command max money just to try and lure them away from okc...
its sad
they're gonna try and max out on those players just to have a name

probably won't even have the right team to go along with them

King James will get his nba ring this year

Well the analyst consensus is generally OKC. And as far as this thread goes apparently the Heat have no chance.

*shrug* its why we play the games aint it

I hope so. I wanna see him get to the top of the mountain, and see the LeBron haters squirm and try to find ways to discredit him.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

my logic says OKC but I won't front I would be ok with Lebron getting a ring cause of all the hate he gets for no good reason he deserves a Championship. Battier too.

Turiaf sucks though ... Eddy "Whats a Diet?" Curry too. The idea of them getting rings irks the fuck out of me.

What offline source you go to a middle school? Just last week ESPN poll had it that 2/3 people would prefer Lebron over Durant.
