~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 3-1)~-~-~-~

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

People act as if OKC has all these superstars. The truth is, OKC only has one superstar and two streak shooters.

OKC is a jump shooting ISO ball team who are going against a fierce perimeter defense in Miami. Can OKC consistently get easy shots is key.

Miami is the exact opposite and lives in the paint which results in higher percentage shots.

I think the games will be highly competitive with OKC going stretches where they simply can't score. This is my concern is this series. OKC is going to have to knock down shots and not play ISO ball.

Look, I like Harden but let's not fool ourselves into thinking he is Wade, Kobe or the next Jordan. He is a player that is crafty when driving to his left and can hit some shots. He is not carrying a team or a superstar.

Westbrook simply cant shoot 26 shots a game and only make 34% of them and expect OKC to beat the Heat.

they are not. watch some games don't just spew bullshit

Miami is the exact opposite and lives in the paint which results in higher percentage shots.

this is a lie the assists come from 1 person the rest don't create or do anything of note and wade is iso 1 on 1 king of the playoffs.

when he goes up against your 2nd unit he is going to look like mike jordan lol that's why he's so dangerous off the bench what bench player do you have that's even 1/4 as good?

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

In my head I've been saying Mia in 7 for the past few days...

I changed my mind, I'm going with Miami in 6.

They split the first two, Miami comes back and gets two at home, then comes back to OKC and wraps in up in 6.

We will all be witnesses .

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

He'll have to respect him after this.

I got the Heat winning in 5 games. I just don't see much of a threat from OKC in this series.

boston and indiana gave them problems

and you only see 5 games against the best opponent theyve played this year?

:hmm:

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

This series is similar to last years finals to me. Miami has 2 of the best players on either team but Okc has the better team just as Dallas had last year.

You're right. Once OKC went up on San Antonio, people started acting like they were the deeper team. That was a bunch of bullshit. SA went about 10 deep. Pop tightened up once they started losing, but in reality he really had that many guys he could play. OKC is 7-8 deep at best. Revisionist history is a problem in sports and in life right now. :smh:

I miss the days when they played Ricky Steamboat's music during starting lineups.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder~-~-~-~

It is amazing the Heat got this far with a starting line up where the tallest person is 6'9
