I think the Bulls are also looking at Mayo and Beasley. If Beasley comes here, Thibs will make Beasley into a much better player.

They may also be looking at Eric Gordon, but they're not getting him.

If we get Beasley with his head right???!!!... He can play the 3 and the 4!!! Never understood why hes not atleast a borderline star right now. I know back in 2k11 I used to beast in franchise mode with him.

Thing is that our draft pick may not suck. This draft is deep with SGs so we should be able to get one. Right now the most realistic options from the draft are Orlando Johson of UCSB, Doron Lamb from Kentucky and John Jenkins from Vanderbilt. Jenkins could at the least take Korver's spot.

Its a pipedream, but if Terrance Ross from U-Dub falls to us.:dance: I mean yeah Im a homer, but hes 6'6'', can jump out the gym, has range out to 25 ft, can put the ball on the floor, can rebound his position very well, and has the length and athleticism to play great D.

Hell yeah!

I could part with Deng if we can get Beasley.

More and more it seems like he may get drafted in the lottery. He would be best case scenario.

Beasley can play but I don't trust him enough yet to trade Debt because of him. The Wolves were trying to damn near give him away at points in the last year

PICK UP : Eric Gordon, Gerald Wallace, Dewight Howard.

Draft Doron Lamb

Get rid of : Noah, Hamilton, Boozer, Lucas, Asik, and Deng

Also I have zero faith in the bulls draft

ZERO FAITH

And plus it's not like our coach plays rookies anyway

Bet if we had SHUMPERT he wouldn't even played him

On second thought, I think they're going to trade Kyle for a 2nd draft pick so they can get a big man for cheap. Use their pick to get Barton or D. Lamb, then scoop Draymond Green.

im not gonna start discussing what we plan to do or need to do until late July Early August.
Everything at this point is speculation.

But like many have stated....we really cant make any major moves until the following year. That is unless we trade some of our best beforehand. But I dont see that happening.

I would love to see some team allow themselves to get fucked over and take Boozer. I know theres some team out there with lots of cash thats desperate for a veteran 20 and 10 player. Boozer doesnt work with the Bulls...but maybe he can work out well in some other system.

When u get out coached by Erik spolestra and Doug Collins

U have to get the fuck out

And Jimmy is not a scrub

He shitted on the snicks when we played them

i am curious.

what problems do you guys have with Thibs?

My only problem wit him is that he plays the starters for too many minutes & that was with a deep bench. I can only imagine what will happen with Brewer, Korver, Watson, Lucas and Asik possibly leaving.

I agree with the first part. I could see the Bulls going after Robert Sacre from Gonzaga or Festus Ezeli to fill the big man role probably left if Asik leaves.

I think the main issue is that sometimes he gets stubborn with his rotations/substitutions. I didn't see a lot of Butler, and I know Brewer was wildin' in Game 1 (I didn't see what he did), but I think he should've gotten more burn in the playoffs. Rip was missing in some games where we needed some 4th quarter offense. Stuff like that.

Aside from that, Thibbs is cool with me. I just think they should bring in somebody to work on their offense as well.

Reggie Rose: Derrick Is Doing Great
http://blogs.bettor.com/Chicago-Bul...bbing-well-from-ACL-injury-NBA-Update-a160546
”He’s actually doing great. He’s going real good, which surprises me. I thought he was going to be beating himself up.
I’ve seen him beat himself up over a game that wasn’t his fault, just anything. He’s such a competitive guy.
I just thought he was going to beat himself up because that’s the way he is, like he let someone down. He’s staying focused and has a positive attitude.”

Pretty much. Thibs is a good coach with little experience. hell get better. He is what he is though. He needs to help with the offense, he only really knows, or wants to know defense... Im cool with him though...

I think he gets great offensive production relative to the players the bulls have

Thats another way to look at it. But after seeing the same play being run 70% of the time down court and its not just iso Rose at the top with Noah screening, I came to the conclusion he didnt want to try anything else.

I see a lot of things the bulls do offense wise that I wish the heat would do more often. Side picks, back cuts, pin downs, a lot of dynamic movement

Ill agree there is more going on when we run set plays... But for the most part theyre still the same basic 3-5 we run the whole game. Thats why were easy to defend even with Rose. People know where to be, as long as they stay matched up and play with discipline the play wont work and Rose has to bail us out. Most teams dont do it though so it works enough to keep doing it. That, Rose pulling rabbits outta hats, and our D and rebounding giving us more opportunities is why the Bulls win.

Why Paxson? He doesn't even handle the personnel decisions anymore.

Paxson is responsible for two of the biggest FA bust in terms of $$$ and production in Bulls' history in the forms of Ben Wallace and Carlos Boozer, and is also responsible for trading LaMarcus Aldridge for Tyrus Thomas when the Bulls needed a back to the back presence at the four (and they still do).

Paxson got luckier than shit getting Rose; w/o that they would have been calling for his head two years; I think he should have been gone LONG before that based off the strength of his dumb ass personnel moves; only smart decision he's made was not give Ben Gordon the $12-$14 million/year he wanted.

Yeah Pax dodged a bullet with the Rose pick. Did y'all know he wanted Beasley but Reinsdorf listened to the fans and told Pax to get Rose. He seems to have learned a little from the past since Gar Forman took over as GM. As for the Aldrich trade, it is what it is.
But let's not act like we would've had both Aldrich and Rose. I don't think people realize how close Miami was to getting Rose. The Bulls weren't even expected to be in the top 3 of the draft lottery.

All valid but most of us weren't pissed when he traded for Tyrus. I thought Aldridge was the better player but I liked the deal because he got a couple of players in addition to Thomas in the deal. And at that point Aldridge was more of a face up guy. Also let's give him credit for fleecing the Knicks, drafting Noah when we still needed a back to the basket presence and for drafting Gordon in the first place and pulling off a trade so that we got the pick to draft Deng.

paul pierce would be quick fix on the offense tip

Whod we trade to get him??? At his age would it be worth it??? I do say see what KG is talking about in the offseason??? If hes not asking the world why not, cant be worse... Hell I know its not worse than what we have now...

I doubt there's much to it but I heard ppl saying

Bulls get
Evans
#5
Salmons

Kings get
Deng
Taj
both Charlotte picks

Like I said it's just a rumor over on Realgm don't know how serious it is but I'd do that shit in a heartbeat

So we give up an All Star, a solid big man and a future lottery pick for #5, a player who has already been on the team and sucked and a SG who is a ball hog, doesn't play D and isn't that good of a shooter. And Evans is about due for an extension so we wouldn't even get him for the low.
