Shit... Zeus was no joke! Hogan and the other wrestlers used to catch hell from him back in the day, lol!:yes::yes:

He saved those people on the ferry in Gotham City.

News on Jim Ross Possibly Working WrestleMania,
Date Added: March 13, 2012
Story By: Marc Middleton

- Regarding Jim Ross working this year's WrestleMania 28 event, it's believed that the decision will be made the week of the big event and as always, it comes down to what Vince McMahon wants. Ross may end up calling one or two matches this year.

It's believed that The Undertaker has asked officials if Ross can call his match but The Rock and John Cena have not yet.
Taker needs to make this happen. I don't even care if Ross doesn't call any other matches, but he definitely should be calling the match between two vets like Taker and HHH.

Financially eh 20mil budget 22mil box office. It made more but give me Suburban Commando over any wwe film any day:yes:

"You're a dead man Ramsey" Can't believe Taker agreed to that.

"Suburban Commando"????? I saw you say that earlier and just wrote it off as a typo. That shit was horrible. But there's somebody for everything.

been lurking in the bacground and I saw you all talking about bad wrestling movies and while some was horrible I had to add this cinema classic

220px-Ready_to_rumble_poster.jpg

Following the release of the movie, WCW decided to generate publicity for the company by running a storyline in which David Arquette, a legitimate wrestling fan, became WCW World Champion. The storyline was reviled by some wrestling fans, and Arquette himself reportedly believed it was a bad idea, as he felt that it would damage the value of the belt he held in such high regard

You have the nerve to tell us that Cena could be a movie star and then clown us for those 2 cinema masterpieces! How dare you:lol:

The endorsement people were waiting for

WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin was interviewed by The LAW this past week about his new movie Recoil. The LAW can be heard every Sunday night at 11pm EST with Dan Lovranski, Jason Agnew and John Pollock on TSN 1050 Toronto and online at liveaudiowrestling.com. Here are some highlights, courtesy of Chris Maffei:

Talent Having Problems with The Rock returning: "My thoughts on that are, you earn what you get in this business. Rock has earned the ability to come and go as he wants, because the business still needs him, it can still use him, and it can elevate the profile with having such a mainstream guy there. I don't know about the promos between John (Cena) and Rock. I think some of them have gotten kind of personal, you wonder how much of it's a work and how much of it's a shoot. At the end of the day, it's a worked business. Again, I think it's a good thing for Rock to be involved with this. He's earned his right to come and go and do whatever he wants."

Basically telling them what all the other legends have been telling them and that's to shut up.

The guy's that bitching about the Rock need to have a session with Taker in wrestlers court to straighten them out.

While were talking about wrestlers in films. What about Piper in They Live?

:lol::lol: let me help you get it back to the norm.... If any of you stay in Oklahoma you might not see any live shows anytime soon :

Mike sent word that The Oklahoma Athletic Commission has put all "combative sports" on hold indefinitely beginning March 31st due to a potential UFC lawsuit. What it means is that if WWE, TNA, UFC or other companies run a show in Oklahoma, the Commission charges a 4% tax on all PPV buys in the state for every PPV show that the company airs for one year. UFC is threatening to sue because of the tax and the Commission is shutting down "combative sports" because of the possible lawsuit. Pro wrestling is considered a "combative sport" as well as MMA and boxing.

I apologize for besmirching the greatness that was "Suburban Commando". What was I thinking?:smh:

Oh yeah, I was thinking "That movie sucked ass and not in a good way!"

And Austin's right. The problem is that no one else is benefitting from Rock being there but that's not Rock's fault at all.

I saw this a few minutes ago. I thought Vince cleared this shit up back in the early 90s when he stopped paying licensing fees and shit to different state commissions because pro wrestling isn't a real sport?

It's funny listening to other wrestlers talk about the Rock. The Bellas said something like "Cena trains all year round while Rock takes his breaks."

@1:16 Mark:

Didn't seem malice to me but if they were being snide then has no one informed them that Rock isn't a wrestler anymore? Do they feel the same way about Beth & Natalya who trained their whole lives, only to be brushed aside for 2 broads who only got their fame because they went hot tubbing with Johnny Ace.

Looks like we're not the only ones who are sick of Cena smiling during intense promos.

Rock responds to a fan on twitter
"Next time you see John Cena give him a Backhand when he gives that stupid smile and lay him out for me @TheRock
"

@AliTheGreat1980 Ive come very close to doing that."

I didnt think the Bellas were dissing Rock. They couldn't think of anything else to say and went with that.
Bad sign that Alicia Fox is more concerned about her outfit than having any type of match at Mania. Guess she knows she's not going to be breaking a sweat April 1.

That's part of the problem with younger WWE wrestlers. They haven't been groomed in the business like generations before. Like I pointed out, grumbling about guys coming in and taking a main event spot isn't new and didn't start with the Rock but the current generation of younger WWE guys and girls don't have the experience of working territories when Andre or Dusty or JYD comes in a does a one spot and walks off with a huge check while you're there year round working angles and drawing people. Guys like Rock (and Jericho and now Taker) have put in the work to get that "Andre" spot. For the umpteenth time for someone to say this in this thread, it's not Rock's fault they're having a hard time getting over and building an audience when he's not around. Read Chris Jericho's books and do what he did, learn to stand up for yourself and work your ass off to get better, in the ring and on the mic.

Is there any legitimacy to Rock's lines about Cena fucking around on wife. You put any group of males and females on the road long enough, and people will eventually start fucking around on their spouse .... it's human nature.

The line was funny, but I thought shit like that was considered a no-go among wrestlers. Wasn't that part of the reason that Bret and Shawn originally had their falling out?

I thought he did it because he introduced his wife to the audience at the end of the show last week and he kissed Eve on TV a few week prior. A few years back it was said she didn't like Mickie James because he was fucking her before they got married.

I did think that got real close to the line, though.

Well they were dating, and McMahon used that as part of a storyline. Cena even said that one of his regrets was breaking up with her. I always thought Mickie was a sexy lil' freak.

I remember. I vaguely remember one of them saying McMahon wanting to use it was one of the reasons they broke up.
I just think any type of mention of guys being unfaithful on the air is off limits, worked or not.

I agree with that, but Cena actually said he didn't care. If the chick he married was his high school sweetheart, she may have a problem with him opening that scab...

 My point exactly:lol:.

Cena's "in the business", she is not. That shit goes from a work to a shoot as soon as you get home. Then I'm calling Rock immediately so he can clear that shit up.

If it was true then so what, if you want to "shoot" then you have to be prepared to take some bullets as well. Im sure Rock has some skeletons in his closet, but the people who know probably don't care enough to volunteer that info to Cena. Rock also might have some dirt on them which is why they wouldn't volunteer that info:lol:

BTW: Cena & his wife would have some ugly children because she has some manly features:lol:

But Cena's not shooting on Rock so it would be even worse if that's what Rock was trying to do.

She isn't that cute so that's love right there.

Nene is actually a perfect example to my point. She has even less celebrity than John Cena but she gets chances outside that show based solely on that. Rock didn't get "The Mummy Returns" because he was a great actor but based solely on his name and physique (he didn't even talk in "TMR").
Hogan is another great example. All of his movies flopped but he still got several more and a tv show. Cena, were he to decide to go that route, would get at least that. Even with all his flops, "The Marine" is more successful than anything Hogan or Austin did.

What?! You dont remember Haku machente?

Well let's say if this is all legit

1. He brought up Rocks wrist notes
2. He tried to sabotage Rock's promo last week
3. He brought up Rock's lipo(which he himself admitted to back in 99)

So he has been shooting it's just Rock hit with a body blow that no one expected. His wife isn't cute but she was living out of a car with him when he first decided to pursue wrestling(although something tells me his family was pretty well off), so if she was that loyal and he's cheating on her that makes him look like a real sorry S.O.B.

I think that's the issue: Cena was getting personal, while Rock was going at him from a kayfabe standpoint. This is how HBK and Bret Hart started.

Again if this is "legit" you're absolutely right Cena was getting real and Rock was not expecting it. If he wants to get real then he'll get destroyed(eminem wannabe, eve & vanilla ice), he had the crowd cheering him after his rap but Rock turned them against him with ease.

All he has to bring up is all his outside shit failed. Did his album sell? Did his movies sell? The Rock succeed in everything he did and that's why Cena is hating. Who else could leave for 7 years and come back and get cheered like he never left while he gets "Cena sucks" chants?

But it's not legit, there is no "let's say it was" because it wasn't. Everything you posted was scripted and set up and there is a big difference between saying Rock got lipo and insinuating you've been banging chicks on the side.

Then you're talking about non-wrestling shit and that sucks when other people do it and it would suck for them to do it.

His album was platinum and Rock does not succeed at everything he did or have we just forgotten "Faster" and "Doom"?

Then you're talking about non-wrestling shit and that sucks when other people do it and it would suck for them to do it.

Certain parts of Cena's whole arguement can be said to be non-wrestling. When Rock moved on to a movie career, Cena had been talking about him for years and damned near begged him to come back. He could easily tell Cena that your reason for you wanting to wrestle me is not that he's mad that he didn't come back, but he's been in his shadow. Cenas even alluded to that in that empty arena interview.

His album was platinum and Rock does not succeed at everything he did or have we just forgotten "Faster" and "Doom"?

His album went platinum?

From a movie standpoint, Rock's movie career as a whole and done very well while Cena's hasn't. This was another part of Cena's interview that was non-wrestling related. So he dressed up like a fucking tooth fairy?
