Certain parts of Cena's whole arguement can be said to be non-wrestling. When Rock moved on to a movie career, Cena had been talking about him for years and damned near begged him to come back. He could easily tell Cena that your reason for you wanting to wrestle me is not that he's mad that he didn't come back, but he's been in his shadow. Cenas even alluded to that in that empty arena interview.

That's been a big issue with me with them having to do competing promos and skits off and on for a year. It's the same shit over and over and they're getting further and further away from "I'm going to kick your ass in Miami".
Cena calling out Rock was really Vince calling out Rock using Cena.
He is in Rock's shadow. Rock's, Austin's, HHH's, all those guys from the previous era. No different than how Bret was in Hogan and Savage's shadow. Much like Bret with Hogan and Warrior, he was elevated but never beat Austin or Rock to get there.

His album went platinum?

I know, right. WTF?

From a movie standpoint, Rock's movie career as a whole and done very well while Cena's hasn't. This was another part of Cena's interview that was non-wrestling related. So he dressed up like a fucking tooth fairy?

And it sucked to me.

And it sucked to me.

But people went to go see it..go figure. :dunno:

Tooth Fairy is a 2010 comedy film starring Dwayne Johnson as the title character, Stephen Merchant, Ashley Judd, and Julie Andrews. Filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, it was produced by Walden Media and released by 20th Century Fox on January 22, 2010. The movie was given a negative reception from critics but is a success at the box office.

Box office

The film was released on January 22, 2010 and opened in 3,334 theaters and took in $3,544,512 its opening day, with an average of $1,060 per theater.[6] On its opening weekend, it grossed $14,010,409 with an average of $4,190 per theater. It ranked #4, behind Avatar, Legion, and The Book of Eli,[7] though the film rose to #3 on that weekend in Canada with $16,000,000 and remained #4 in the US on its second weekend, behind Avatar, Edge of Darkness, and When in Rome. Despite negative reviews, the film has come to be a box office hit grossing $60,022,256 in the United States and Canada, and $51,854,764 in other markets, grossing a worldwide total of $111,877,020.[2]

Not to mention his other movies have done so well that people tend to forget about the flops.

But it's not legit, there is no "let's say it was" because it wasn't. Everything you posted was scripted and set up and there is a big difference between saying Rock got lipo and insinuating you've been banging chicks on the side.

It's not a matter of what degree it is, it's a matter of someones personal business. Cena really doesn't have anything on Rock so his shots don't last. Rock was clearly reading sheet music yet no one cared, but Eve will get mega heat this coming monday thanks to Rock.

Then you're talking about non-wrestling shit and that sucks when other people do it and it would suck for them to do it.

His album was platinum and Rock does not succeed at everything he did or have we just forgotten "Faster" and "Doom"?

Doom & Rundown were the only 2 movies to lose money, which is a shock because Rundown is really funny.

Cena won't release another album now because it's almost certain it won't go platinum.

It wasn't the movie that sucked (didn't see it so I can't say), I mean Cena's mentioning it sucked.
Every time he sees Rock, he should bring up how that sumbitch cost him the WWE title last year. It's strong when he says Rock talks shit on screen but not to his face but then when Rock's in his face, he's smirking and shit.
No more gay talk or tooth fairy talk. No more throwing merch off bridges. Just talk like two guys that want to whoop each other's asses, not like competing standups trying to get the bigger laugh.
I know I'm in the minority but I'm bored with this shit.

I agree. That empty arean interview did more for the feud than any othe the other shit..at least to me. I would have showed training montages of Cena getting ready and talking about how much he needs this win, not goofy smiles.

His scribbling notes wasn't personal business. It was scripted. Rock showed his talent by playing it up like Cena got him.
But the "Cena doesn't have anything on Rock" thing is why this sucks so bad for me. None of this shit matters. Rock is a multiple time World champ. Cena is a multiple time world champ. Rock beat everyone of his generation (or at least they can say he did) and Cena's beaten everyone of his. Hogan and Rock didnt match box office receipts or talk about who might be fucking who backstage.
Eve already has heat over the Zack Ryder shit. Dumping Ryder (which was sufficient) and trying to get with Cena is all the heel move she needed to make.

"Rundown" was really good and Rock showed he could sell tickets to an extent with the family movies as well as action movies.
Doesn't matter if he ever releases another album, he can say he has a platinum album.

He's been talking about that follow-up album for YEARS. At this rate, it's going to go the Detox route.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

That shit was good. Not Dusty Rhode empty arena interview good but no one is. The one thing I hated was "I wanted the Rock, not Dwayne Johnson!" "That's the Rock I wanted!" Shut the fuck up already. That shit isn't making any sense.
Rock needs one of those too. No more "monkey asses", no "strudels", just serious shit.

Here's some more of Austin's interview that I found very interesting

Current talent being vocal to creative: (CM) Punk was a guy, and is a guy who, man, that guy flew by the seat of his pants. He was pissed off, he vented, he cuts great promos. He worked himself out of a bad situation into a great situation. He knew when it was time to pick his spot, when he contract was gonna be up. That guy's been around the horn a few times, and he's been kicked around a little bit. He saw how the other guys were being treated, and he needed, and deserved, and earned the right to be treated in that same fashion. Guys, you gotta pick your spot, but you gotta be vocal. It is a very interesting machine these days. They need voices to question them. They need voices to inspire them, or fuel them, to rethink some of the things that they're doing and make it a better product.

Returning under the right circumstances: There's nothing up in the air for me. If there's something that presents itself as a business opportunity, then I have an open ear to listen to it. It would have to be right for myself, my opponent, and obviously the company. I'm not lobbying for another match. There's always talk. People ask, "am I capable of having another match?" Yeah. If I was in a bad situation, I would get back in the ring full time if I had to, but I don't have to. I'm happy doing what I'm doing.

The Rock needs shit like this:

Now why can't Cena act like Rock talking down to him really gets to him? As for Eve the Ryder heat will go away when people stop caring about him, Rock has permanently made her a "Ho 4 Life"

Yes.
That's the thing about HHH. He's been an asshole and a politician but he knows when to bring the seriousness and when to bring the funny and he never brings the funny to WM.
I notice Johnny wasn't smiling at Hunter. Rock needs that Cena.

HHH would've destroyed him if he kept smiling and he already got on him for his Reebok taunt. HHH also clowned him before night of champions when he was calling him clumsy, so HHH knows how to silence Cena.

I agree. That empty arean interview did more for the feud than any othe the other shit..at least to me. I would have showed traiing montages of Cena getting ready and talking about how much he needs this win, not goofy smiles.

The empty arena promo was meh to me because with him smiling all the damn time why should i take that promo seriously?

Personal business?? All Cena did was acknowledge something Rock would willingly tell you and made it funny. Rock bringing up Cena's fam was cheap but funny nd we all know the rock and it's all for comedy sake. Cena probably laughed too.

Rock has had a lot of movies but if Cena took the Disney route he could sell tickets as well. WWE films do bad reguardless of the star, so just because it was Cena doesn't mean he can't go hollywood if he wanted to. And you even stated Rocks 1 WWE film flopped as well.

If Cena came out with another album he would go platinum again, I'd bet money on it. You gotta think about it, Cena appeals to the ppl who actually buy albums. As long as he has bitches in the palm of his hand he'll sell records because it's the bitches who buy the albums and it the bitches who buy them for their kids that tell them to.

Rundown was funny tho. But doom sucked camel dicks

Doubt it. The Ryder issue will be ongoing. They only turned her heel because fans started booing her for turning down Ryder. It would be like giving him credit if he dissed Vickie Guerrero.

HHH would've destroyed him if he kept smiling and he already got on him for his Reebok taunt. HHH also clowned him before night of champions when he was calling him clumsy, so HHH knows how to silence Cena.

HHH forced him to be a professional wrestler.

It's one thing to smile a little then because there isn't an angry Black/Samoan guy in your face talking shit.

Probably. Hell, most likely. But shit like that can go sideways in a hurry so don't do it unless you and the other guy are 100% on the page like Cole when he talked about Lawler's mother right after she died.

I do think the Disney brand sells a certain amount of tickets on their own, much like WM is always going to be the biggest ppv of the year, even if it sucks.

Nah. Only the biggest of acts is going platinum nowadays but I think he could move a nice amount of units just because he's John Cena and WWE would be pumping the hell out of it so a lot of kids would be wanting it. But he's not as roundly popular as he was then so going platinum is going to be much harder.

True, but shit if beiber can do it.....lol

All he'd have to do is pack it full of features like everyone else does (specifically Drake) and get the usual popular cats on production and it would do well.

His wife isn't cute but she was living out of a car with him when he first decided to pursue wrestling(although something tells me his family was pretty well off), so if she was that loyal and he's cheating on her that makes him look like a real sorry S.O.B.[/SIZE][/B]
:confused:n wait, what.... who?!?

Exactly, posts like the one u responded to make me think dude just hates cena.

Dude probably thought Kane really murdered a little girl back when he was facing hhh LOL

No dude your post top any troll post i've ever seen, but i do have to give you props because riding Cena and typing at the same time can't be easy:hmm: For anyone actually discussing wrestling with rwill with a straight face just check out some of his past post:smh:

Man gtfoh I'm obviously joking with u stop acting butthurt when other Ppl share their thoughts that may contradict yours. You call out dude for saying stan but everytime someone doesn't agree with you their a troll. Like I said gtfoh.

Bobby Roode and James Storm are on fire in TNA right now. Give me their promos in the last few weeks over rock and rap concerts every time. Roode just roasted Sting last night and talked himself into an ass-whooping.
Combined with Bully Ray and Austin Aries, TNA has the best promo cutters going right now.

..this

I've been watching TNA more than WWE due to the balance of promos vs. wrestling.

It's not perfect (last week they spent way too much time on bullshit) but they've really stepped up their game in almost every aspect. Two Knockout matches on the same show? Wow. Divas are hating like hell.
The best WWE match on tv in the last couple weeks was the six man on SD and TNA still had an even better one the other week with Storm, Joe, and Magnus against Ray, Roode, and Aries.

I just wish they would spread it out a little more. There's no reason RVD, Pope, and Devon aren't on tv more often and have their own issues.

The Rock posted a photo of he and a smirking John Cena face-to-face on RAW and added the following caption:

"The first sign of fear is when a man answers my raw aggression with a nervous smirk. #WM28"

Cena replied:

"Second sign is when he can no longer speak in public without reading his words. Have a nice night @therock #WM28"

So what they're both scared of each other?

Oh im sorry i thought we were going back & forth, but i see from this post you can't handle ribbing:cool: And i will never take you seriously as long as you have Tebow in your sig.

How good was Bobby Roode last night:yes: That is how you make a match feel meaningful(Cena Rock:hmm:)

It's just weird at times. But I give them credit for using social media to hype their feud.

Roode makes me wish Sting was about 10 yrs younger so they could have a real, long feud because they have good chemistry. Hopefully Sting's as healthy as he can be and they have a good match at Victory Road (which I'm now on the fence about getting, up from "Not getting at all"). The no holds barred stip will help them out like it did HHH and Taker last year.

Do it in the ring is all im asking.

I might say 13-14 years younger but they do have great chemistry. The entire segment felt like Roode truly believed every word he was saying, off topic but does the TNA belt look like it has a little too much gold on it? My favorite titles were always

1. The Big Gold Belt
2. The WWF Eagle Belt
3. The Undisputed Belt
4. The AE Belt

You know I'm against these weekly faceoffs anyway but I know WWE tries to use all the current media to their advantage so I'm not bothered by it.

Roode took off in this feud when he talked about his achieving what Harley Race, Ric Flair, Vader and Hulk Hogan failed at: taking out Sting.
13-14 yrs is better.

I'll look at the TNA title again. I like the belt, personally.

I put the AWA title right behind the first two on your list.

Its all good then I thought u were getting mad. My bad.

LOL the tebow sign is just funny to look at.

I tried watching tna last night but I have no idea who those guys are they have new dudes every month there it seems.

Jump in now while it's good. If the ratings dip, they'll bring back fucking Russo.

No i don't get mad but in wrestling you have to play along because as Stone Cold has said "It's a worked business". Wrestling is like a fraternity but just like life there are some people who are whiny bitches, and i think the WWE does have a few of them.

Tna is good when they're not overloading it with 2min matches that don't advance anything, and right now they're doing a good job especially Roode & Buh Buh Ray(calfe zilla:lol:)

Quick note but am i the only one who's notice Cena biting 3D? Not dissing him it was just a funny thing i noticed with the hand signal and camo shorts:lol:

That'd his old thing. I think its supposed to represent hustle loyalty respect .But I remember him doing that back in his thuganomics days.
