Lost my aunt to intestinal cancer five weeks ago at 69. Rest in peace to your homie, C'. My brother just turned 29 this past week.

I think I read one of his posts and threw away a pack of black & milds. Well, its been a little over a year and I haven't touched a cig or cigar since. I got bronchitis around March 2011, and it hit me that if I didnt stop, I was either gonna feel like I had bronchitis all the time or I would be dead. Stopped cold turkey and havent had a strong urge since.

c/s I use to smoke Newports and Black N Milds back in the day until my grandfather died from smoking and I stopped right then and there....been going on 5 years now, but my dad smokes and he tried to stop but he just couldn't and he's accepted the fact that he'll either die from this or from something else...R.I.P to the OP..

my aunt has cancer and the doctor has told her the chemo isn't helping any more and that she could either live out the rest of days hooked up to a machine 24-7 or he could just give her some pills to help with the pain....she took the latter, her son just came down to spend two weeks with her cause he said he couldnt live with himself if he didnt see her at least once more but only the man upstairs knows when she'll be called home.....but you're right cancer is worse than AIDS and you have so many different forms of cancer it's hard to stay on top of all of'em.
I started smoking ports at 15 I think, I went on through school and stopped at 34, I don't smoke anymore since everytime I smoke I end up getting broncitis, I stopped cold turkey a while ago.
I was never a heavy drinker, maybe a couple beers a week, even drinking I cut down alot on. I do like long islands at Fridays for 4 bones during happy hour but I don't drink alot.
I work out regularly and try to eat healthy, not much fast food and so forth. I'm 37 and I got sickle cell trait so I gotta be careful.

Sorry to hear that bruh but hang in there. I found out that I have B-cell lymphoma cancer back in Nov. I'm currently on chemo and just went back to work last week. Pray and hold God close and stay away from negative people is all I can tell you. It has done wonders for me. I'll have my 4th treatment in 2 weeks. It is hard as hell and will make you want to give up but stay strong. I found out that my cancer was in my neck, chest, spleen, liver, lower spine, and lower abdomen. After my 2nd pet scan it only remains in my chest and a small tumor in my lower spine. Bruh I'm gonna beat this and so can you. pm me if you want to talk or learn some of the stuff that I learned that can help. one
ummmm..the op passed away bro..but i just googled lymphoma cancer and it shows that it is one of the most curable types of cancer there is so I'm sure you'll be alright bro..
