Just found out on Thursday that I have cancer.

Sorry to hear that bruh but hang in there. I found out that I have B-cell lymphoma cancer back in Nov. I'm currently on chemo and just went back to work last week. Pray and hold God close and stay away from negative people is all I can tell you. It has done wonders for me. I'll have my 4th treatment in 2 weeks. It is hard as hell and will make you want to give up but stay strong. I found out that my cancer was in my neck, chest, spleen, liver, lower spine, and lower abdomen. After my 2nd pet scan it only remains in my chest and a small tumor in my lower spine. Bruh I'm gonna beat this and so can you. pm me if you want to talk or learn some of the stuff that I learned that can help. one

Bro ask your oncologist about doing an autologous bone marrow transplant that is a way to get rid of the lymphoma

This thread is old brother you might want to PM him but I believe he posted that over two years ago or more.

Good info still though.

*****Edit: I actually checked his profile, he hasn't posted since November 2012, about 10 months after he posted that, hope the brother made it out OK and survived his battle*******

RIP DJ Groove.

I'm late to the party. Gotta say something tho. If you want to avoid cancer, there's a few things you can do:

- Stop smoking!
- Exercise. You don't have to run a marathon, but do something.
- Cut down on meat and sugar significantly. Have 2-3 'meatless' days a week.
- Increase consumption of garlic and brussels sprouts, 2 potent anticancer foods.

If you do these 4 things, you dropped your cancer risk by 90%.

DJ Groove's BGOL bio says "33 yr old hardworking father of one son." If you got kids you wanna see grow up, or things you wanna do before you die, do what you have to do.

:please:  :bike:

No doubt, so many people disappear from the board and we always assume they've just moved on to another board or something of that nature but there are probably countless people that we've interacted with over the years on a regular basis that pass and we never have a clue about it.

Damn rip! I lost my mother to cancer which made me quit smoking. This Guy I used to work with was telling his mother beat cancer by taking vitamin b17 plus I read about other people that said the same thing. I'm in the gym everyday and trying to eat right so I don't have to depend on these scandalous doctors.

He would not want to do a stem cell transplant this early. B Cell has a high rate of cure with standard treatment. A bone marrow transplant requires high dose chemo and that is very harsh treatment.

But you are correct that a bone marrow transplant can cure. Timing is everything. You don't want to wait until you are two sick to handle the treatment and you don't want to jump the gun and take harsh treatment when just standard chemo would have cured the cancer.

Was hoping DJ pulled through. Hope this thread stays alive and helps others who may be going through a cancer fight

yeah hope the best for you.....almost had a scare myself they was thinking prostate cancer ended up being benign prostatic hyperplasia

It is people who have a strong and positive mental attitude who beat shit like
this. I am betting on you, and you will make it. Magic Johnson was 32 when
he found out he had AIDS. 22 years later, he is healthier and fitter than 99%
of us. So do not give in to negative thoughts. Take the chemo, and do what
ever they tell you. They know what they are doing, they have been down
this road before, so they will walk you well. Keep up the spirits, and let us
know how the recovery is going.

I ve seen a doctor not want to do the transplant thinking he could get on top of it with chemo and PET scans....he wasn t successful.....

but you re right it is a discretion and timing thing.but a lot of the oncologist don t even tell people that its an option

Stage 4 cancer cure, Part 2

It seemed to me that there were too many tumors raging already to let anyone cut on me spurring further growth.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a real brief recipe list here.

(1) Grate one habaneros pepper each day, putting it on bread (2) Grate two cloves of garlic each day, putting them on bread (3) 1-2 Tablespoons of Emulsified cod liver oil each day.* TwinLabs makes some wonderfully flavored cod liver oil.

I used the cod liver oil because I was not losing any weight or dealing with fluid retention. If I had either of those conditions, I would have used evening primrose oil instead of the emulsified cod liver oil.

(4)Smother the grated garlic and habaneros peppers with real butter and eat it. No margarines of any type, including Smart Balance, etc.

4 drops of blackseed oil a day as well.
