If that is you in your avi I'd say you have a rather light complexion....for some reason my theory doesn't work with mixed/light skin guys they love me but I've never had a boyfriend with dark skin although I've seen many that I find sexy.

I could see that, you don't usually introduce someone your just fucking to your family, and the redbone/medium/light skinned women wont get as much of a "shock" reaction by an uptight white family. She would be considered "closer to us" in there eyes.

Theres some truth to what youre typing..but it aint an epidemic like youre trying to make it out to be.
Theres plenty of Brothas that date dark Women. And Im not typing about some bum ass niggas either. The problem with a lot of Sistas in general is they seem to go after what they want instead of what they need. Then when the shit doesnt work out they wanna go and start generalizing.
Im more so of a T.I. complexion and Ive dated a few Dark Sista's. And even though I never have nor ever will consider my self light skin damn near every Dark girl that Ive dated either sat and caressed my skin while mumbling some BS about light skin or either made multiple "envious" comments about my skin complexion. I found that a lot..and I mean a lot of Dark Sista's seek light skinned guys due to self hate that they have via their own complexions.
Bottom line is its not always about Brothas not wanting dark Women...a lot of times it has to do with the Woman herself.
When Dark Sista's talk to me about what you just typed I usually tell them to reevaluate their standards or do some traveling.

a person can have a personal preference. However, this particular issue seems to be deeper than that. My girl told me her ex said he didn't date dark women because he didn't want a dark baby. Something about he didn't want his kid to have to go through what he went through in school.I can only speak for myself I would love a sexy chocolate guy if I could snag one...but they do not want me atleast not for more than sex. I love my complexion naturally curly hair and chocolate skin are my strong points.
btw: I would consider you light if you are T.I's complexion
