NoDQ.com > WWE > Kevin Nash Hurt at WWE's Night of Champions PPV?
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/19/2011 at 10:33 AM

- After Triple H decked Kevin Nash with a sledgehammer in the main event at Night of Champions, Michael Cole, who had lost his voice, was seen writing something on a piece of paper and showing it to Jerry Lawler. Lawler then showed the paper to members of the WWE crew who then ran to the backstage area.

After the main event, Nash stayed on the floor until someone came from the back to tend to him. The "X" symbol was thrown up and other officials came to check on Nash, even Jerry Lawler. Nash finally staggered to his feet and was helped to the back by officials.

Hell I knew something had to be wrong with Cole because I didnt hear his annoying ass.
Hopefully his voice stays fucked today so we don't have to hear his annoying ass on Raw.

Something about the undercard

Way to say "Ted Dibiase ain't shit." First he didn't win any matches to "earn" an IC title shot. It had little build. And he lost. Nothing wrong with the match but everything they did right in the Miz-Riley feud, they did wrong in this one. I can't tell who's more ice cold: him or Ezekiel Jackson. I guess Zeke since he wasn't even on the show.

And who thought Truth and Miz would lose? The teams are lining up for Survivor Series but I can't see how.

figured cole lost his voice cheering on miz

Happy for Mark Henry, he should have been getting booked like Big Van Vader(WCW) and Umaga was. I hope they at least let him hold it for a month. If Orton wins a tv rematch:angry::angry::angry:

As far as Cena goes shameful:smh:. Can't hate on Cena himself or the lil Jimmy's. The problem is front office and the booking/writing team. Cena does not need the title all the damn time to be over:smh:. He could just be dominant by beating all the heels without the belt. I mean even Austin, Rock, Hart, HHH, Micheals, and Taker did not need the damn belt to still be the top star.

The next PPV is already in 2 weeks, might not even last that long :smh:

The way they shitted on Christian the first time he won the title, anything is possible. I guess they feel like either Cena or Orton has to have a belt around them and with the new WWE game come out soon with Orton on the cover I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't have the belt back by time the game comes out

My computer is being fixed so I haven't been posting but I had to say that im happy for Mark Henry getting the title.

BTW does anyone else hate the way that Cena applies the STF. That idiot never locks it in, it's like he's just trying to flex his arms.:smh:

I remember one of the last times Cena put it on Punk, he didn't lock the leg because Punk was supposed to be able to get out of it, but he wasn't applying ANY pressure to Punk's head, face or neck either, so it basically looked like a headlock. And the announcers were like "STFU!!!" and Punk's yelling, the shit was so botched.

First Flair, now Lawler

Jerry Lawler was legitimately injured last night when Mark Henry put him through the table with the World's Strongest Slam. From what I have heard, the table did not give way as expected and Lawler was in extreme pain in his lower back.
Lawler was taken to a local hospital via ambulance to be checked out for kidney and lower back damage. We haven't heard anything additional as of this writing, but will update when we do

Okay, old guys, it's time, it's PAST time.

well we know mark gonna have to give up that belt now:smh:

I kind of like how they went all the way with the whole Miz/R-Truth firings...

wwe.com said:
WWE has come to terms on the release of The Miz and R-Truth as of today, Sept. 19, 2011. WWE wishes Miz and R-Truth the best in all of their future endeavors.

I just hope they don't go and form a whole Outsiders stable.

Random clip of Smackdown maybe the last great year for WWE. Skip to 10:13:lol::lol::lol:

Simple that was a time with multiple Hall of Famers around, guys in their prime, mid card guys like Albert and Rhyno that had their niche and roles well defined and a guy like Paul Heyman controlling the pieces and putting them together.

Maybe it's me but I was a fan of TNA(Test and Albert with Trish as their manager).Damn shame that they never held the tag belts.

Smackdown was at it's best when Heyman was in charge which is why i think Stephanie wanted him gone. T&A were a real good tag team but man did i hate their theme song:lol:

I thought they had something as a team they didn't have as singles.

 SD was incredible under Heyman. Now SD is the best show on tv by default but then it was because of the quality.

2003 will always be one of my favorite years in wrestling because TNA was great, and it was the year when i felt that the WWE was heading in the right direction for the first time since the attitude era...boy was i wrong.

They dumped Heyman, moved Ross out of talent relations, Chris Krewski left in 2002 so his storyline were playing out by 2003. Everything that was working ended around that time, either right before or right after 2003.

Yep, and you can pinpoint Orton winning the title in 04 as the end of that era. I know we all love Rock SCSA Trish etc but it's pretty sad that they're relying on stars of the past to boost interest.

That wouldn't bother me so much but it's the way they do it that does. Even in the territories, they brought back old names to pop attendance but it wasn't done at the expense of the current roster (unless it was the owner like Verne Gagne or Fritz Von Erich). If you're going to bring back Trish, Beth Phoenix should kick her ass. Same with Rock and Austin.

The problem is i don't think anyone benefits from that with this roster. Rock beat Hogan and no one had a problem with it, but how much of an uproar would there be if/when Cena beats Rock? On the flip side the people i talk to wouldn't have a problem with Punk beating Austin.

Orton beating Benoit for the title was the beginning of the company not knowing what the fuck they wanted to do.He won the title only to get kicked out of Evolution and drop the belt within a month. And it didn't bring a huge feud forward and ultimately Batista's ascension out of Evolution was a fluke and they blew a big part of him eventually taking the belt from HHH.
They have to rely on old stars because they've really only put full effort into making Orton and Cena huge. With damn near everybody else it has been a pattern of starting and then stopping.

I don't where I heard it but somebody threw out that Mark Henry should hold the belt until Wrestlemania playing into Daniel Bryan cashing in there.

I think that because Punk has earned a respect among hardcore fans that Cena hasn't.It may because it doesn't feel like his success has been the product of having the WWE machine behind him as much as it does with Cena. That and people seeing him rise up in ROH,come to the WWE with too many expectations and be really successful when it's obvious that many higher ups in the company either didn't like or just didn't get him.

The truth is even though i hate giving Cena praise is that he did bust his ass to get where he's at. I remember seeing this old wrestling documentary i forget what channel it was on, but it showed Cena wrestling out in Cali while being known as the prototype. He was wrestling in clubs in front of 40 maybe 60 people and he was committed to that shitty gimmick, Austin & Rock had the machine behind them and fans respected them i just think smarks want to get behind anything not Cena. Case in point at Summerslam Del Rio was cheered when he beat Punk for the title and now you can hear noticeable boos when Punk speaks now. I think as i predicted that the euphoria is wearing off but the good news is it's building up for Truth & Miz.

The problem with Punk has been the follow thru. They really should have done with Punk what ROH has done with Kevin Steen. If he had stayed away for months it would have increased the appetite and interest in him.Have him show up somewhere here and there whether it's Comic-Con or an indy show with the belt and keep things unpredictable.Instead they've decided to go at things in the traditional WWE way by having him lead off Raw every week.

You are right about Cena's beginnings but he still comes off as the guy that the WWE machine is behind and has somewhat created. With every title win like the one this past Sunday resentment grows as does the frustration with Cena.Even with the Rock people saw the company try to shove him down people's throats and how that backfired completely. And then somehow he became one of if not the biggest name in wrestling.

As for Cena's beginnings peep this vid.

At least Chavo has the guts to come out and say it, but if he were still employed by them it would be a different story.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Guerrero on Cena Breaking Flair's Title Record
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/21/2011 at 11:34 AM

John Cena closed in on Ric Flair's record 16 World Title reigns with his victory over Alberto Del Rio Sunday night at Night of Champions. The master of the Five Knuckle Shuffle has now won 12 World titles; the WWE Championship a record 10 times and the World Heavyweight Championship twice.

Cena's latest World Title victory has former WWE Superstar Chavo Guerrero steamed as the third-generation grappler has vowed to stop watching professional wrestling if he breaks Naitch's legendary record.

He stated Monday night on Twitter, "If Cena brakes the great Ric Flair's 16 time champ record, I will never watch wrestling again. I call a boycott of Cena matches if he does!"

Guerrero also asked his Twitter followers, "How many of u are tired of John Cena being champion? Don't get all excited, it's just a question." He wrote moments later, "Wow...it's an overwhelming "tired of Cena" response! It's not me, it's all the fans. I could literally retweet hundreds of tired responses!"

Guerrero continued, "Now, my opinion...Cena is better than me on the mike, but I could out wrestle Cena with my eyes closed and 1 hand tied behind my back! Truth!

"Some are saying that Cena is a great athlete. Really? C'mon. Are u blind? I know Cena & I could beat him in any sport except weight lifting!

"Golf, basketball, bowling, a race, tennis, horseshoes, hitting a baseball pitch, catching a football...anything!!!!

"Lol...some1 just said Cena is a better athlete than Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior! Lol are u retarded? No offense to a challenge person."
