Jesus Christ, they might as well call it the John Cena Championship as many times as they want to put it on him.

I thought they wanted the title around Del Rio when they went to Mexico to do their tour, but mabye he'll win the rematch.

p.s. - Cena 10 time champion, Really, Really. And the HHH - Punk match is going after both championship matches. The non-title match is main event after all these championship matches ..... WWE really doesn't give a shit about championship statue anymore. :smh:

As long as they keep the title around Cena they couldn't care less about statue.

Whoa. they gave Mark the title? Good for him. I didn't think he'd ever be world champion. ITs rare for brothas. A lot of great brothas before him never got that chance at a title. WWE has been building him up though solid.

My problem is that they treat championship belts like any other accessory that the wrestle walks to the ring with. It's like HHH and the sledge hammer. Championships should mean more than that.

Great for Henry because he deserves it, besides with Smackdowns ratings dropping every week they might just want to try something different. Cena winning the belt is just lame no long pissed off rant from me all i can say is lame. at Beth Punk thinking things would change.

Yeah I thought it was Nash too.

I thought they were going to put the GM into the storyline somewhere or just dismiss the whole angle altogether. So it's weird that they had the podium out there when they haven't really mentioned the GM lately.

The only good thing about the ppv was Mark Henry winning the title, other than that it was the same old thing.

I'm happy for Mark.
I actually met the guy over 10 years ago when I was working at Bojangles in high school
Him and Vicera came in to order some food (both of them damn near ate all the chicken in the place, lol) while in town for a show
Got an autograph from him on the back of a receipt (still got it)
Glad to see they finally gave him the belt after all these years.
I wonder how long he will keep it though.

If Mark faces Orton, a month.

If Mark faces Christian, two months.

Orton is going to get his rematch.Personally I'd let him keep the belt til the Royal Rumble.

Watching the ROH PPV from last night and it's official Kevin Steen has been apart of the best storyline in wrestling for 2 years running now.

Simple the WWE has bullshit people in creative.Instead of hiring guys with a wrestling background or who at least are wrestling fans they would rather have their product written by people who are legitimate writers but not wrestling fans meaning that these guys have no idea as to what has worked in the past in terms of getting guys over or storylines.Zach Ryder is a great example they brought him back up in ECW and he did well and then they moved him to Raw and did nothing with him.And they give him a push now because of the popularity of his Youtube videos which he did himself not because the writers have the know-how or want to find something for him.As a matter of fact,he and Curt Hawkins should or would have been gone years go but the 2 of them came up with the Edgeheads idea not creative.

If they did the writers would learn from the example of Hulk Hogan. The reason why he was on top for so long without the huge backlash is because he was allowed to look vulnerable. At some point in the feud Hogan would always get destroyed and left for dead allowing for doubt from the fans and when he eventually overcame the odds it meant something and the heel was still strong at the end of it.By the way if the WWE has sense they will put the belt on Mark Henry for very much the same reason cause it would allow Henry to stay at the top afterwards with obvious feuds with Sheamus,Kane and Big Show that could be near the top of the card and make Orton look stronger at the end as well.

Well, they have a little sense. How shitty would it have been to hype up Mark Henry being there for 15 years and not getting a shot and have him lose? But seeing as Randy just won the title back from Christian, I am surprised they let him lose clean. I thought they would have a DQ finish to extend it.

Randy Orton lost...CLEAN??? WOW!!!!!

That shit was Vader-like. Mark almost choked up. The titles might not mean anything to the management but it still means something to the boys.
And not too long ago, Mark was jobbing to Ted Dibiase AND Cody Rhodes on Raw.

He has the worst entrance music I have ever heard in my life, but damn it, Mark Henry is your NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

c/s on the entrance music, they need to change that shit but

:dance::dance::dance::dance:

Congratulations Mark Henry!!

Ya'll trippin'!
You can't beat a song that starts off "Somebody's going to get their ass kicked!" 3-6 Mafia blessed him with that one.

I could be wrong but I don't think they've mentioned it in weeks.

Maybe they will make that the person who texted Nash

Naw, Nash texted Nash. They revealed that on Raw a couple weeks ago. I know, that sucks.

"Jim Cornette, Vince Russo could kick your ass!":lol::lol:
People are missing out if you aren't watching ROH and Kevin Steen. I hope he's in better shape though.

I knew Punk was going to eat a pedigree but at least they didn't make him look like a chump and he was in a main event. I'll reserve judgement to see how this plays out.

Can't say the same about Cena beating ADR. Just when you're trying to build ADR up as a credible champ and he loses his first match with Cena. He should have won, not cleanly but he still should have gotten the pinfall.

Paul Heyman wrote the following on The Heyman Hustle Facebook account in regard to the ending of the Night of Champions finish:
"I had to flip from watching Inglourious Basterds to see HHH vs CM Punk. Fill in your own punch line for that one, folks! I thought they (and all the others involved) put on one helluva show. It took 3 Pedigrees and a Jack Knife to beat Punk. I know a lot of people are pissed Punk got pinned, but if you're going to get beat, isn't that the way to do it?

As with everyone else, it's all in the follow-up (right, TNA?) ... let's see what they do tomorrow night on #Raw. Hey, I hashtagged #Raw! Ah, it's only been almost 5 years since I left. Maybe I've mellowed just a little. Nah"

My computer is being fixed so I haven't been posting but I had to say that im happy for Mark Henry getting the title.

BTW does anyone else hate the way that Cena applies the STF. That idiot never locks it in, it's like he's just trying to flex his arms.:smh:

YES!!!!!! He's got the Stepover and the Toehold but where the fuck is the Facelock. I swear everytime he applies it, Lou Thesz shits himself in his casket.

And people always over sell the hell out of it. They start screaming in pain and tap out well I'm sitting there like  "he never locked it in"

I'm glad wrestling has brought back submissions but damn, WWE guys oversell all the submissions. They kill me tapping out even when they aren't even in a match.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Kevin Nash Hurt at WWE's Night of Champions PPV?
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/19/2011 at 10:33 AM

- After Triple H decked Kevin Nash with a sledgehammer in the main event at Night of Champions, Michael Cole, who had lost his voice, was seen writing something on a piece of paper and showing it to Jerry Lawler. Lawler then showed the paper to members of the WWE crew who then ran to the backstage area.

After the main event, Nash stayed on the floor until someone came from the back to tend to him. The "X" symbol was thrown up and other officials came to check on Nash, even Jerry Lawler. Nash finally staggered to his feet and was helped to the back by officials.

Hell I knew something had to be wrong with Cole because I didnt hear his annoying ass.
