I was watching A Haunting, the series that used to air on other channels and now airs on Planet Green, and I wondered why none of the stories contain any Black families, couples, etc. I did see one where the father was Black and the mother was White, but that's it. I know, from growing up and hearing stories on things different people in my family experienced, that we have just as many encounters with spirits/ghosts/entities as any other race or culture, not to mention stories that have been shared by fellow BGOL members on a similar topic. Just wanted to hear any thoughts on this. My only theory is that we may be more reluctant, out of embarrassment, to share stories like these for fear of ridicule or maybe being shunned by the church community who would most likely suggest prayer and dimiss it as guilt for some sin, or go the other end and call them demons from some bad deed, or negative energy. Your take?
