Huge Day for the NBA and Nash to Knicks? Josh Smith to Boston? Felton to LA?

Call me what you want:rolleyes: but the Bulls have decisions to make. Boozer is not exactly a hot commodity. He is a year or two away from consistent mediocrity. Also a Turkeyglue buyout will come quicker because his contract is shorter than Boozer's. I am not to keen on a washed up highly paid bum like Turkeyglue but this is a necessary move for the Bulls seasons down the line.

 GarPax ain't this dumb. You would effectively be wasting 2-3 yrs of your MVPs career for salary relief. Also Boozer's contract falls in line with his production, while Turks may be the very worst in the league. I would trade Noah before I get rid of Boozer, you will get more in return.

Ummmm

Jordan was a floor away from signing with the Snicks in 98.

If I'm rose in getting the super max.

Like more than Joe johnson

Man some of ya'll sound crazy in this thread all the way around...

If there is no hard cap the Bulls will have no problem going over the cap to resign rose and Rose can't make more money with any other team then the Bulls. There is no super max and having played less years then Joe Johnson he couldn't make more then him no matter what happened.

If there is a hard cap then I guarantee teams will be able to buy out big contracts such as Boozers or Dengs. The Bulls would do anything to keep Rose forever and Reisnsdorf isn't a bad GM at all. He is willing to spend money on both of his teams. Look how much he spent on the Sox after they won the Series and how many big deals he signed with the Bulls. His problem back then was he gave Krause fat ass way too much power.

and the Nicks??? Cats talking about them making 100 moves in one off season. Not gonna happen. Plus they still have Dantoni as coach and will never play D. Shit Amare can't even rebound and nobody talks about that garbage. How this nigga average less then 9 boards and calls Pau soft lol I hope the Bulls get Mayo and I'm fine with having Boozer as my PF for a couple more years. With time him and Noah will start playing great together and be like Zach and Marc Gasol.

If the Knicks get Steve Nash they'd be the same fucking team Danandtony had in Phoenix. It makes no fucking sense.

This isn't MVP Steve Nash that we may get... I don't like it... :smh: Hopefully, I'm wrong.... Who knows???:dunno:

Even if it was MVP Steve Nash MVP Steve Nash couldn't play a lick of defense. Its one thing to try and hide Amare and Melo's defensive efficiencies. Now you want to add in another player in Nash? They might as well just say fuck defense and just hope they can outscore the opposing team. Nash can't guard anyone and NEVER could.

A 60 win team that constantly got its ass whooped in the post season by a team that plays defense? That 60 win team?

Which is still better than a New York team that's only won 60 games once in the last 40 years. At least it would give them a chance to compete.

They're past settling for just winning 60 games. They have Amare and Melo. That's a good foundation. Start building defense around those guys. When you have 2 stars on your team you're not just settling to just win 60 games and then go into the playoffs and get smashed. They need to be building a team.

You know how they say be careful when arguing with idiots because those observing cant tell you apart? Yea, well thats you right now.

:smh:

They're not PAST anything. They need to win in the REGULAR season before they start worrying about championships. They were mediocre last year with their two (ball hog) stars, and dreadful the previous ten. Even a 50-win season would be a HUGE accomplishment.

This is what I'm hoping for:

Derek Fisher to Orlando for Dwight Howard.

Orlando will get a clutch performer, who has five rings. I see a match made in heaven for Orlando.

I think Amar'e is a better defender than advertised... and 'Melo is capable of being better defender... Nash, on the other hand... :smh: I like him as a player... but he's long in the tooth... Like you said, Nash couldn't guard anybody even if he wanted to... I would like to get Ray Felton back on the team... He can defend and he's got HEART... He's no sucker.

If they stay @ 17 they will pick Darius Morris, many consider him the best pure pg in the draft but he's young and raw which is why learning behind billups(or nash if they can pull it) will work out. And dolan has given permission for walsh to buy at least two more firsts and seconds. The spurs r interested in selling their pick as r celtics/bulls....firsts cost 3mil each and seconds are 1.5mil... plus the knicks r tryin to trade td and 3mil for casspri...donnie is gonna go out big in his last draft and get us back what we lost in the melo deal

My money is on Iman shumpert, He's a 6'6 pass first PG whose only problem is his shot but he has no problem with being a slasher. But for all their flaws the Knicks know how to fix a players shot so that isn't a issue. If they teach him how to shoot all of a sudden you can have a back court of two passers who can get points to put around your two scorers. Also he is a great defender.

Rose will never accept not being the highest paid player on the team.

Nope.

And what money did the sox spend?????

The red sox and Yankees yes.

They spent 100 million for a fucking jap

I love how cats are talkin bout what my knicks cant do...
as i said they want nash for 2 reasons, he knows mike d's offense and this is mike d's last chance to save his job and 2nd he makes 3mil less than billups, why is that important? turioff comes off the books too at 9mil next season and walker comes off at 3mil plus the knicks will move balkman... is nash a better pg than billups yes, defensively of course not but its the trade off why?
the knicks want chris paul only way to get chris paul is to reduce cap... if the knicks get nash they remain competitive and reduce cap and nash would have no problem taking the like 5mil for one more season as backup..nash will allow the knicks to have MAX money next yr.

Dolan reportedly was mad as fuck that the knicks don't have a 3rd star and he's determined to get the 3rd star and he's focused in on paul, of course the knicks r drafting a pg this yr so if we don't get paul he will go after howard but trust me Dolan wants the 3rd star.

He's also one of the owners pushing for a higher hard cap not 45 mil...somewhere in the range of 60-65mil... its the small market teams that are pushing for the lower cap b/c they are worried that the big market teams will be able to buy players, they have a point but look at this, the cap for this season was 58mil...no way the league will go back on that they r gonna settle on 60 to 65mil for the cap and the knicks will go for the 3rd star.

but as for this season we're gonna try to buy 2 more 1sts and 1 to 2 2nd's to add depth...we also have money to sign a vet center this offseason...

people forget we only have like 8 players under contract right now the knicks will have to make a lot of moves just to fill the roster! we may even trade 2 or 3 of those 8 on draft night...the knicks team of 22 games and a playoff sweep from last season is gone, next season other than like 5 players this is gonna be a new team...

as for mike d...he was told hire an defensive coach or get fired, he agreed to hiring a defensive coach and he's will not run the SOS offense...mike d likes ny and wants to remain here but knows he needs to win so defensive won't be the issue the knicks reportedly are going after celtics assistant and ex nets hc lawrence frank to serve as defensive assistant....

defense will be addressed as will the other holes, unlike other teams we have no issue spending money.

stop judging the knicks of 22 games and a playoff sweep as the team going into next season. it's gonna be a new roster with a new defensive hc and mentality.

Rose will take less then deng and noah?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

here's what happens,

"derrick we want u to remain a bull so we're tagging u as the franchise player and here's 130mil over 5 yrs"
"I ACCEPT YOUR OFFER!"

he won't turn down 130mil unless somehow the bulls fuck up between now and when its time to talk.

the nets r gonna do the same with deron williams and the magic will offer dwight the same thing but in dwight's case he might say no...

Why does everybody hate on Jeff Green so much? He may not be great, but he is a solid performer in points, rebounds, defense, and he was a positive, mature locker room presence with the Thunder. I thought he should have been on the USA Worlds team, but he was the last cut...people in Boston wanted to hate on him because he's not the type of player that Kendrick Perkins is, and that wasn't fair...
I see what you mean but imo:
1. he was involved in one of the worst Celtics trades this decade... not his fault but hey :dunno:
2. Dude is DECENT ... but he is no future Paul Pierce... plus he is undersized for small forward ...especially in the defense heavy eastern conference IMO... he barely big enough for the 2 man
3. He was in a contract year.... I don't know of his regular play... seems like a journeyman ... we got a lot of cap room... I wanna shop around before fallign in love with Jeff Green's play
4. Dude just looks BORED... we need people that get it HYPE like KG and the Truth
This isn't MVP Steve Nash that we may get... I don't like it... :smh: Hopefully, I'm wrong.... Who knows???:dunno:

am I trippin or is Billups a better choice... I know nash is better on paper but chauncey is a champion and he got more heart ... nash just [gets] scrappy imo

What happened?

I'm at work and just heard on the wired instead of a hard cap it will be a flex cap basically if u got money u are good if u don't oh well.

so add 4 million to everyone cap. The Pacer now have 34 millions in cap space that's if the players agree. It will move to a hard cap later but for the next couple years flex cap.

Meaning knicks can now afford cp3 in 2012 the nets this summer if dwight is a free agent can go after him and keep brook at the same time.

Teams like Lakers and Orlando can't do nothing but seem anyone under the cap of 60 million is okay

if this is true then my Kings bout to have 31 mil in cap space..

and there u go the rich owners beat the cheap owners, dolan will get his 3rd star, nets will go after dwight and the heat won't need to be broken up...if u can pay u can play if u can't too fuckin bad sell ur team. quiet as kept Dolan is one of more powerful owners in the nba and holds madd influence he just doesn't talk to the public or media...now the bulls have no excuse to spend money they just got extra money on the cap, lakers will be players too...cp3 a knick i hope he can stay healthy... lakers r probably gonna go hard after dwight...shit's gonna be like baseball...
