Let me see
right off the bat my favorite players from Georgetown BACK IN THE DAY
in no particular order...

Patrick Ewing
Alonzo Mourning
Dikemba Mutumbo
Allen Iverson
Horace Broadnax
Reggie Williams
Micheal Jackson
Fred Brown
Eric Sleepy Floyd
Micheal Graham
Michael Graham never gets his just due.
That dude was a human wrecking ball down low.
I HATED Graham when I was growing up.
Especially after he single handedly manhandled Houston in the 84 NCAA finals.
Thompson’s Hoya Paranoia teams were tough as nails.

i never knew that Shaq wanted to come to G-Town. just think if Georgetown DID recruit him. he would have been replacing Mourning/Motumbo.

"You need to try to apply for this job. You need to call President and lobby to have an opportunity to interview for this job... You've been trying to get [an NBA job] for 15 years and they haven't given you an opportunity yet. It's time you try a different avenue."- Ewing on what John Thompson said to make him seek the Georgetown job.
