The first championship game I watched was CAROLINA VS GEORGETOWN. That game got me hooked on college basketball.

I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s. The impact that Georgetown had on black culture was tremendous. John Thompson was unapologetically black and stood up for young black men. Extremely intelligent, articulate man, but he could get fiery enough to make you think that he is about to fuck you up. We lost a great one!
