Anyone who's familiar with Fordham Rd in the BX knows how packed those streets and sidewalks are during the day
No No No. This isn't the movies. You shoot the tires and one of the bullets ricochet hitting an innocent bystander now you have a riot on the streets. Most cops aren't sharp shooters and barely train. Many of them do just enough training to keep their badgejust shoot the tires
If cop would have shot him through the window then you would have people saying to shoot the tires outSituations like that are no wins for cops but I think they would've been more than justified to shoot at him directly to take him down before he got a chance to hurt other people. The cop who ran up on the driver's side window probably had the best chance to take him down with minimal risk to innocent bystanders. If he fired through the glass when he was right there, he might have been able to take him down. Aiming anywhere else from a further distance would just increase the risk to bystanders
Ppl are saying that now. They really don't understand the inherent risk at doing that as opposed to taking the threat down directly. I blame tv and movies for giving that skewed realityIf cop would have shot him through the window then you would have people saying to shoot the tires out
Something some of y'all might have missed in the vid. Peep dude on the Citi bike. The Bronx is hot
just shoot the tires
just shoot the tires
Ramming into cars and driving on to a busy sidewalk? I woulda made his chest look like a lotus pod.The cops wouldn't have the green light to shoot unless the driver was trying to run one of them over. I guess no one felt like playing matador.
I think NY cops are just coasting nowadays. This is a second vid i've seen like this and the cops didn't shoot.Would they be wrong to shoot the driver?
he was white thats why they didnt shoot smhjust shoot the tires
