Depends on what look you're going for.
The subtle look is easier.
If you want the Obama look, or the Will Smith subtle texturizer look without the wet look where it lays down
Then you only need to leave it on for 2-3 minutes.
The longer you leave it in, the straighter it makes your hair.
You must wear a wave cap too for about 10mins before you leave the house to help make it lay down.

I just cut my locs off and I don't like having just a regular ass ceasar. Shit is boring to look at.

This sounds about right ... but check with a professional first Leroy ... the texturizer is still a relaxer just a mild form and could mos def burn your head if not used correctly
