YEEZUS just LEAKED!

Kanye doesn't make beats anymore.. As said before earlier in this thread, Daft Punk produced the bulk of this album which explains the electric sound of it..
When did he stop making beats?

That NY Times article sure gave the impression that the style and sound of the album are a result of Kanye's newfound reductionism.

That NY Times article sure gave the impression that the style and sound of the album are a result of Kanye's newfound reductionism.

He stopped making beats a few years ago.. John Legend spoke about it in an interview somebody posted a couple weeks back.. He may get a Co-Producers credit for adding a few things to beats submitted to him, but he doesn't come up with the ideas himself anymore.

You would think he would fully produce at least one joint.

I'm about to order my copy from amazon:yes:

No mouse:yes:

No mouse hilarious!!!!:lol::lol:, that being said listening to this album makes me wanna go watch TRON LEGACY :D, album not bad but not all that good either,Its growing on me though, cant stop listening,so many different sounds.Fuck them other niggas/Strange Fruit/blood on the leaves goes hard!!!

i think he wanted to be a rapper more than a producer producing got him on.

soon as he got to a nice level he signed a whole bunch of producers..who ultimately contribute to good records artists and help with his albums.

Exactly that producing shit was just to get his foot in the door.

I feel where Kanye's coming from on this album, I jjust shot three white people while listening to "Black Skinhead"!

The album is underwhelming for me. My muscial tastes is eclectic, so I don't mind the minimalist electro beats, but Ye is just rapping about fuck-all. I guess the college dropout/late reg kanye is dead. 'Bound 2' showed a glimpse of the old Ye.

Both J. Cole and Kanye's albums are complete letdowns. I can't see much replay value from both efforts. :(

Hopefully Wale's album is flames. Dude is the most underrated commercial artist in Hip-Hop bar none. :smh:

The weird thing about the album for me was the lyrics. It's like he ran out of ideas. He needed a ghost writer or something. I like the beats whether cats believe it or not lol. I like weird, dubstep, electro type music. It's the content that was lacking.

Exactly his content is basic

This album will help to continue to usher in the new age. You ever see those scenes in futuristic movies where they in a club(like in the matrix) and everyone looks androgynous and has on black makeup and looks weird as shit? Well that's what this album reminds me off. Can't you see it coming the kids these days are dressing more feminine that's a straight European influence and you can hear that in this album. I'm not wit that shit sorry:smh:. If you search twitter look what the 21 and under crowd is saying. That's the future:eek:
Agreed

To those that listen to Radiohead, is Yeezus Kanye's Kid A with MBDTF being his OK Computer?

article that popped up today

what I found interesting is the speed at which these songs are made, lyrically. the most important part of hip hop music is the lyrics (well in my opinion I guess), and it seems that some of these songs were made in minutes.
Now it all makes sense. The weakest part of this album is dudes rap & lyrics.
Which is a shame considering the subject matters and what could of been.
Instead I could hear the rap was rushed and last minute.

So I just sat down and gave this album a thorough listen on my Sony Dj headphones. I will have to say my opinion has changed slightly . Sonically sound wise this album is immaculate it sounds great . But do sounds make an album? Because besides blackskinheads and new slaves he ain't saying shit. And do I create kanye for sounds if he didn't produce it? This is high end boutique , designer driug, models doing coke, fucking a bitch from Eastern Europe in Belguim, flashing lights in an exclusive club, fags kissing popping mollies music. You can envision it in the sounds. Don't you see the reason this album is getting such high reviews is because homosexuals like it? You realize that's who write reviews right? This album appeals to that lifestyle . He will win Grammys cause it appeals to that crowd. I'm disappointed because he hit me with the pump fake and I jumped . I heard black skin heads and new slaves and thought the album would be one way. Instead it's a designer drug homo album . I've been to Europe a few times and you can hear Europe in this music. Having said that the album sounds phenomenal but what does that mean?

wow, that's a lot of references to homosexuals....What? You can't see beyond the rainbow world?
