YEEZUS just LEAKED!

damn i dont even want this shit on my hard drive

that ninja needs to get away from those crackas and get his creativity back

I see what he was trying to do.

It started off probably as bad as an album can sound.

6,7 and 8 brought it back up to ok i can dig this.

then it got loud again. true reflection of where it was recorded. this music sounds like it was made in paris with daft punk and ed banger.

then he ends the album off with what we wanted from him the whole time lol with bound.

not groundbreaking
it is different so credit can be given for that. doesn't mean it works. most of it doesn't on first listen.

hmmmmm....thanks for the review, I'm going to have to vibe this album & I'll peep the ebbs and flows of the album you pointed out....

Wouldn't dare play this outside the house. This some shit you play when you playing Black Ops or some shooter game.

For the niggas trying to shit on the beats, Daft Punk produced more than half of this album.. Makes complete sense now. Their signature electronic sound is all over this..

A lot of this shit reminds me of Major Lazer.

It progresses in a similar fashion as a weird night of drug use.

Like most of Kanye's music, the masses will praise it as avant-garde, but the real avant-garde will not be blown away by any of the sounds.

I'll live with it all weekend, and maybe my opinion will change.

After 2nd listen this is something I could listen to when I'm doing heavy weights at the gym. The HGH dudes in there would love this mixed in with their AC/DC, Metallica and Iron Maiden

well there it is.. i don't like daft punk... i wanted to hear yeezy on yeezy beats

I can't imagine him touring with this album. It's not as bad as i thought it would be but i would never purchase this.

Somebody PLEASE tell me what video game they sampled for #8 "Guilt Trip".

That shit is gonna fuck with me all weekend.

So.. here's the thing, The TOP musician in the world is consistently willing to go left and do something that doesn't sound like anything on XM radio.

Why would you want the same music from the same artist all the time?

Hasn't ya'll favorite rapper Drake made a career so far off of 808's and Heartbreak? In fact the only growth Drake even tried was to sample Gil Scott Heron who Kanye sampled 20x before.

Like, ok so you don't like it after one listen 30 minutes after release so you turn it off as not for you and say its bad.

But you can't knock dude for experimenting, appreciate that shit.

Shut yo ass up, Kanye .

This shit is worst than 808s. Terrible

follow the #Yeezus on twitter and facebook, a lot of white people are loving it. A white radio personality in DC I talk with often said its "AMAZING" and he's editing it now to play on air ASAP!

I guess?? Weightlifting music to me

thing is soul never dies
soul music never gets old
soul music is eternal and he was making some soulful shit.

even on new slaves... the break at 2:50 hits you and you feel it and you're like yes.. yes... this is soul. lol even with his bad singing the music is like ok damn this sounds like the soundtrack to life...

honestly after listening again and again

the start of the album is the entire problem. when you only have 10 songs kind of puts more pressure on you. he started it off shitty imo but finished up stronger. so if you deleted the first 3 songs and just had 4 thru 10 i think this thread would be totally different

lol they love daft punk.

like i said.

the songs im sure they love are the head scratching head banger ones with the weird sounds and random noises.

paris music basically.

Giving it a listen right now
So far, not bad...probably not his best work though
I find it funny how some of you niggaz is so quick to shit on every new record that comes out

lame.. who is then?

Kanye's the most influential by far in music.

Someone said today that they thought the album was just decent, but they hate that everybody in music is going to try this direction for a year.

Even You know thats true.

Log off.

niggy_tardust_cat_580.jpg
, shit will be over your head, all this shit needs is some old school Tricky

lol @ niggas saying this sound like a Heavy Metal album, I ask have you ever heard one, lol

sounds more NIN, Trent Reznor, Tricky, industrial rap, sonically loud, Ye on an impressive album run

Started off shitty?.. I disagree.. On Sight (although poorly mixed and mastered) is one of the best songs on the album.. Actually them first 4 tracks together started off strong. It got weak in the middle, and I agree that it finished strong.

we differ then. i understand what it was, i just didn't like that far off.

but 4 through 10 were solid and great and they still weren't typical songs.

i think majority of the people in here didn't even make it to 4 cause of 1 thru 3 not really into mickey moonlight or justice or mr oizo or mr flash.. then you ain't really feeling 1 thru 3.

i understood it it just didn't go over well.

but make an album out of 4 thru 10 this thread is different.
