Y'all ready for this snow storm?

My subdivision is icy. Son's school cancelled today. I shoveled 3 times yesterday. Shoveled at least a foot of snow. Used 60 pounds of icy melt. Shit is not a game.

Are you in NY or NJ? What part?

So we were supposed to get a foot of snow out on Long Island. Look how clean the parking lot of Roosevelt Field is.

Man that shit tore up Quebec, Canada, people stuck and forgotten on a highway within the city of Montreal for 10 hours last night, 2 death in a car outside of town when rescue could not get to them on time etc...
Officials are finger pointing like a mofuker, so happy I was not working.

the truth of the matter is they need to change that putting up snowboarders on the sidewalk shit..that shit is disgusting..nigs need to be able to do like old school and toss that snow in the street..no reason why snow should be around 7 days or more lata after a fucking snowstorm..that shit makes ny look extra tacky and disgusting with that block of ice on the edge of sidewalks... hell i saw a cornerstore yesterday go fuck that shit and basically took all that sidewalk snow and throw it in the street so the cars could run over it and melt that shit

Ive seen trucks come by and move snow from sidewalks. I guess you have to complain a lot to get that done.

I think the city just don't want to pay over time money to the sanitation workers, to remove garbage and snow at the same time.

I'm sure they lifted their overtime cap and have them working around the clock, but resources are not infinite. They usually advertise for locals to help chip ice off the sidewalks and clear the fire hydrants for like $15-17 an hour. Don't know how many ppl take advantage of that, tho.
