Isn't MWC happening soon? I'll check out the review but until the majors (i'm LG partial) and OnePlus show their designs, I can't pull the trigger. I'm still enjoying my V30+.

i check these chinese phones out but always pass on em. mainly because of the midrange specs and i don't know how those t mobile bands will act.

i've been selling and using them for about a year and a half now. as long as it's a global phone and showing the bands you operate you'll be good...
remember one plus is a china phone despite what people think they are.

most global phones advertise they work these LTE bands: FDD-LTE: B1/B2(main band AT&T)/B3/B4(main band T-mobile)/B5/B7/B8/B18/B19/B20/B26/B28

processor performance wise, i don't play video games on my phone so my umidigi f2 play performs just as well as the samsung galaxy s9 where you'll see a 10fps difference in games. basic everyday stuff and multimedia

108 megapixels doesn't mean anything.

same 108MP camera going into the S20 series phone made by samsung. granted in the GSM arena site where they gave it best cameraphone award, you get the best detail with the 108MP setting but overall you get the best picture at 27MP

there are dozens of phones that do just as good, for a fraction of the price of a 1400.00 phone. i can live if it takes .5 sec longer for a web page to load. and then many of the differences i'm not worried about.

one of my best phones right now the umidigi F2 and the F1 play, 5150mAh battery i can go 2-3 days normal usage between charges

some other very good phones:

realme X2 pro
Asus ROG Phone II (MKHB award winner)
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE and 9T
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T

Yeah but that's Samsung and their software and sensors are top-notch. If the software and camera just shoots 108mp but the pics aren't necessarily better then it doesn't matter.

If I want amazing pics I'd just buy a dedicated mirrorless camera like a Canon (If pictures matter to me that much). I use the Note because it has an S-pen anyway. I don't buy any phone that doesn't have an S-pen so the Note series is the only phone for me.

true. but the thing people are missing.

we're talking about a 400.00 phone that they are putting up against 1100-1500 phones and it's holding it's own. marques is comparing vs iphone 11 pro

And isn't Xaomi shipping without the Android store due to the embargo as well?

Haven't watched the video yet.

But no 120hz display, no 1440p option for the display, no 8k video recording, no 4k60 recording, no 4k selfie recording, no ip68 rating, no wireless charge, no 45 watt charging, no sd card slot, no optical zoom, no snapdragon 865, no HDR10+, and ships with Android 9.

Of course the shit is going to be significantly cheaper than the S20 line.

What is the significance of megapixels on a phone to the average consumer like ME? That seems like something that matters to a particular demographic but the hype seems to always be off the charts about how good the camera is. I don't get it. :dunno:

i'm not big on expensive phones either. the last expensive and locked phone i had was a note 2. main driver was a zte axon 7 for 2 years till it got the android 9 update and the battery life went to the dumpster. And the camera hardware was great but the software made every picture dark. Had to retire it. I found a recertified essential phone for 140 about a year ago installed gcam on it and haven't looked back. With gcam and its monthly updates from google Its like a cheap pixel phone. ...lol. I might ride this out for a while. But I still follow these phones in case I wanna jump again. I almost bought one of those umidigi before i bought the essential.

BLU G9 user here. Not messing around with them high priced phones. They're cheap enough I can upgrade every year for less than $200!

yeah the first umidigi phone i did buy was the F1 Play. suprisingly good phone with decent camera which was improved with the gcam for 200 bucks.

no... unlike samsung, motorola, lg, etc. these aren't loaded with spam and bloatware apps. just native android. some models do have a interface to them.

Real deal Chinese spyware runs in the background out of the way to log your passwords, keystrokes and gather your data.

yeah this is nicer then what they were putting on overall. PubG works equally on this as it does the samsung Note 10+, pictures are way better then note 10+ there is no difference in overall speed

it's noticeably heavier then my umidigi phones but also has a bigger battery and larger size.

It's all about the S PEN !!! 105mp dont mean shit if the sensors ain't there to accommodate it.

I use my s-pen daily and this point i I can't go without it. For work its invaluable.

I have to rebuild a display in my shop. I take a picture of it, make measurements to it, write the measurmants directly onto the pic with my s-pen and when I get to my studio I can start to cut wood with the correct measurements with the visual notes I took. My managers send me visual nots for repairs on booths with their Notes too...

Not going without it.

Thos who USE their notes know this ! NOTHING COMPARES, ITS TOO LATE TO SWITCH!! ...they'd have to bring a note with an actual bluetooth pen , not just a rubberized stylus, there's levels to the shit !!
